whatever happened to official match threads?
I don't get this market, I'd have SL odds on here, given the circumstances.

if sri lanka bat through innings they end up with 220, i cant see that being chased down in 28 overs

SL have definitely ought back well after 2 early wickets. As I said, the market definitely over reacted. RR is not what it might be, which I guess it what is holding the odds back.

My thoughts that given the target is doable they will start with intentions of getting there with the run rate to qualify but if they lose cheap wickets they will re-assess.

When: 17 Jun 13 14:42
yes, no matter what sri lanka get add an extra 50 on as the aussies will try to blow them away and lose cheap ones.  i'd imagine watto and hughes to open, maxwell further up the order.  could be 2-3 down after the PP

prices are all wrong.  some very low scores at the oval this tournament, with the exception of SL ENG.  170 nearly defended by pakistan.

anything over 235 and theyre clear favorites for me.

there is no guarantee aussies will go for 240 odd in 30 overs they might just bat the full overs and get the win

I agree, I think that they do not want to win the tournament anyway, as they want to oust their selectors. But they don't want to finish bottom of the group either.

anyone know what sort of margin of victory sri lanka need to top the group ?

Sri Lanka were 1.6s. They hit two fours, and went up to 1.8s, then the next over, just three runs, and so what should their odds be now?
