As I said after day 1. This is the kind of match where you could lose your shirt.
By:
Prior out
By:
laying england at 30s you might lose your shirt

England could be all out today.
NZ 2 days to get the win. NZ favorite to me. |
By:
maybe think as like most pundits nz will bat again regardless and set england a getable total
By:
maybe 400 in 120 overs

This session most important in game , do England avoid follow on or not?
By:
i think not but mccullum will bat again
By:
nz would not like to batting final day facing 60 / 70 overs
By:
anderson probably due
By:
Just got a gut feeling NZ might enforce the follow on, if they don't watch them coming out swinging the bat in their 2nd innings in search for quick runs
By:
unlikely but you never know with nz
By:
Key session here , still have my doubts on England against the new ball. Would love to see them survive till stumps with no loss
By:
Good speed of runs by the Poms after tea break but u feel if they go at this rate something has to give
By:
Woah Broady on fire
By:
Told ya something had to give 7 down
By:
Root probably has to start opening the shackles a bit because he is batting with tail
By:
A question. Lets say nz dont care about losing or drawing, what would maximise their winning chances assuming they have a decision to make regarding the follow on.
By:
put england in
By:
NO RUNS SINCE THE WICKET YET NZ DRIFT 34 TICKS!
By:
If nz put eng in again it gives england a sniff but forces them to try and score at a good rate to have a chance. Thats assuming england value the win as much as nz.
By:
NZ will go for the win and could risk losing. THe fans and media would not care if they lost as long as they show fight. McCullam in his short captaincy has been attacking at every opportunity.
Another wicket :) |
By:
What would england take now if offered the option. A guaranteed draw or a 200 run lead with 2 full sessions left.
By:
NZ want to play more against the better sides, they going for the win here
By:
NZ still odds against ... incredible
By:
I think they'd take a snow storm if offered it
By:
sorry 200 is too big. make it 170 of a lead with two full sessions left
By:
Anderson gone :)
By:
how would you folks price up the market on whether nz enforce the follow on or not.
By:
9 down
By:
england are garbage, right thru in this game
By:
What happended to all the complaining about the highway pitch?
By:
What happended to all the complaining about the highway pitch?
By:
ffs surely nz are in a better position now than at lunch?!?! yet the price then was 1.82
By:
All out.
By:
I've backed England and I hope they have to follow on.
Surely that's the only way they can win this? If NZ bat again 200 lead adding, worse case scenario another 150-200, I couldn't see England chasing 375 to win a test match, and the stats show it, isn't 350 or something the highest ever. Only way I see it is England fall short 215 behind. End up batting again, score 375-425, then have a chance of skittling NZ on the last day for a poor total. |
