20 min delay
By:
I would say a little more rain within 15min.
By:
130pm start
By:
first few overs are crucial to the match, a wicket and its game on again
By:
more rain
By:
Just on time...
By:
looks very dull
By:
yeah, was on the radar as I said.
By:
this around for long nigel?
By:
ed hawkins on tms reckons its sweeping in from the bay and doesnt look promising and tomorrow ditto....anybody got a tv link mine keeps crashing
By:
if it rains for an hour you can double that for the mopping up etc

state of the art drainage?? |
By:
anybody with pics, hows it looking?
By:
tms, ''rain lighter, but no break in the clouds so no immediate prospects of play''
By:
Last pictures on sky looked like it was pissing it down
But the draw is drifting slightly ????? |
By:
cricinfo : 1.50pm: The square is currently under wraps and the Basin is gurgling with water. Still, let's hope it blows over sooner rather than later...
By:
draws coming back in a tad...stick hows your book, mines a feckin mess lol, draw just about saves my bacon
By:
link anybody?
By:
oooh draw collapsing
By:
After 6 good months had a nightmare week
Decent green on draw but need every penny to compensate for huge blunders in India Seriously thinking of going for almost broke on the draw in NZ it forecast to rain for 36 hours |
By:
markets in a spin ..england bouncing between 3-7 and 4.6 and the draw 1.29-1.38
By:
im tempted stickon, but im wary of new zealand facing 2 or 3 hours in poorish light and losing a few wickets, i reckon though if they can fend off the next 10 overs without loss, the jobs nearly done (assuming forecast weather is correct)
By:
If I can get 1.38 the house keys are in
By:
did you end up going level red in india
By:
as soon as the covers come off, you should get your price, assuming they dont come off after tea
By:
1.28 now though
By:
1.27 more rain?
By:
When the rain stops, light will be a problem.
By:
even if the rain stops now, the odds are nz will only have to face around 30 more overs today...
By:
yeah light doesnt look good, or it didnt at the time of my link dying, but the immediate problem is it will take up to an hour to prepare the middle
By:
It's just going to rain sweet and I'm on at 1.3
Sort of level red in India but still fancy India Looks like I'm going to lose what I won on the last India test so its not my dough really but I've learned a lesson Unless of course I take a deep breath and back India ????? |
By:
tms ''steady rain, bleak, and the hills are misty, not good, pitch totally covered''
By:
did you underestimate the weather forecast pre the india test? i must admit i never expected a wash out
By:
tempting to back india, they could put oz in by tea and they would need to face 4 sessions of constant spin
By:
if today is a wash out, to put it simply, england would need to bowl nz out in three hours tomorrow
By:
Aus wouldn't have to survive 4 sessions sweetchildofmine, more likely only 3. Can't see India declaring at tea anyway, he's a defensive captain and they're 2-0 up in the series. Draw trains in both tests for me
By:
They should get on for last 2 hours if light is good enough
By:
Yeah I did mate
I laid the draw for enough at about 3.4 and then very foolishly laid another shitload at about 2.1 when it was going to rain for an hour or two |
By:
yeah i agree he probably wont declare, but theres a chance if they continue to score at 5/6 an over and treat the hour before tea as a twenty/twenty bash (with the game safe)
