Thank for your reply KT22, my system is to lay England at 3 and back at 3.8 just to trade the volatility

Hi chaps
update re planned site maintenance for 27 nov, 00.00hrs til 09.00 hrs. I emailed Betfair this morning pointing out the planned maintenance coincided with day 5 of this test match. I asked if the match is still in progress on Tuesday morning would the maintenance be postponed or go ahead as planned. I've just received this reply: Dear Tommy Thank you for your e-mail. It is more than likely that this is planned maintenance will go ahead on the dates stated, we try to cause as less disruption to the site where possible when carrying out this planned maintenance. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiries. Kind regards, |

Thats a great help from bf - doubt if this game is going to fifth day tho tommy.

@scuttler the least of sachin's problem is DRS his last 5 digs reads bwl, bwl, bwl,ct,bwl.
If any a clearer sign to give it away,I haven't seen. |

good work! bf t0ssers... Morse You have called this wrong AGAIN by the looks |
By:
draw should be twice the current price imo
By:
End of Day 1 and India are 1.5. If that isn't a lay then I give up.
Ok it's spins. Anyone who has played cricket will tell you that turn helps many shots. It creates angles for the batsman to work the ball. Turn makes LBWs less likely etc. Not saying India won't win, but the price is very short. |
By:
4.5 million matched so far and theyre thinking of a disruption on the final day

By:
india not short here. Eng getting bowled out for 250 or less here imo.
By:
I thought India looked short at 1.7 tbh but 3 hours later they're 1.5.
By:
eng getting bowled out for 150 odd is quite likely here..
![]() |
By:
Unsure what to make of this... India too short. But do I trust the Eng batsmen????
By:
1.5 doesnt seem short to me. I have backed them, I hope I lose, but think it is a long shot tbh.
By:
its not short. its a massive result deck been prepared. its gonna be a low scoring game and India gonna
have 300 on the board and eng gonna be batting last against 3 good spinners. check the last 3 4th inns scores here.. chasing anything above 200 almost impossible ![]() |
By:
For a trade you can confidently back India and expect 1.3 at some point.
You can also say 1.5 is a lay with one decent Eng partnership bringing 1.7+ All depends on how you use this site. |
By:
Injera I see 1.3 more likely than 1.7 I'm afraid
By:
tbf can easily see eng bowling out india 2nd inns for 200 odd here. Swann will take out GG and Yuvi
no probs. Sachin is a walking wkt atm. totally gone at the game and Monty looks threatening enough to the other right handers. No Draw Here |
By:
india a little bit too short, draw is absolutely ridiculous.
absurdly short; i'm still spitting blood that any test playing nation thinks it's acceptable to play a test on a used wicket. 1.79 on england v the draw feels very satisfactory as an opening position. |
By:
teams can prepare any deck they like. its home advantage and both sides have to play on it.
By:
300+ on this surface is amazing
Now India will win by default of the fact that England bat 4th |
By:
may be eng lead hear +2530 runs
By:
i menan lead +25 runs hear
By:
india pathetic price..
By:
oh god why my english is so poor ?

what has happened to trott he looks like a rabbit caught in headlights
By:
over nowengland in pak mode
By:
Why are they not mentioning the fact that Trott clearly hit that? Massive inside edge.
By:
Botham "plumb as they come" except he hit it Beefy you big ****g useless mong.
By:
Is the draw value at 6/1? i think it will trade shorter.

The First Innings Lead market could be a good one to play here.
I've put some money up, anybody want to take a position? |
By:
no
By:
Somebody did
And I got a nice hedge on my position on England 1st innings runs |
By:
Am taking advantage of the price to top up on India. KP playing a great innings
By:
He is indeed.
I feel there will definitely be swings in the market in this game - and therefore money to be made, but I'm not sure I agree with your position. Whilst Pieterson is there the prices drifts - back India when he is out. Okay there will be a big price drop, but I don't fancy the chances of Bairstow (or a night watchman). As Geoffrey says "One brings two" |
By:
Well,
Well as these two are playing, one brute of a delivery opens things up. Prior might have batted well so far but if he cops one then there will be a scurrying for position. I am not throwing the kitchen sink at it. Just topping up very few overs. Yes England could win this one but I don't think so. Time will tell. Hoping to lay back should we go odds on again. |
By:
DRAW price falling like a stone
By:
Very interesting market.
Yes, draw price is falling, but is that just a 'correction' to reflect the fact that only 12 wickets (so far) have fallen on the first two days. Personally I feel there will be a result - but backing the draw at the moment might still be a good position to take, it may well have further to fall |
By:
I can't make a case for the draw at all. 3 days left. RR low. I can't see how the 3rd and 4th innings will each be above 250.
By:
Surely the draw price is a mathematical / turf accountancy position?
Either side could be skittled in short order. The fact is these two have batted themelves in and look relatively comfortable. The pitch is not getting any better! If the draw price falls further I for one shall lay it as cover. |
