Oh yea - NZ will be absolutely ecstatic given their start

5.69 an over on a good pitch for batting - SL should be ok as long as Mr. Rain takes an early bath

10 minute turnaround and once the SL innings gets underway the completed match yes market will crash.

Is it defo a 10-minute turnaround? It was scheduled to be 45 minutes.

Sri Lanka need 197 - 5.97 an over.

a bit trickier - still well within their capabilities

In fact, I've stupidly hedged on the tie market and not sure it can even be a tie now.

nzl can win this if they bowl well...pitch is slow n wkt to wkt bowling is all it is needed...

It is well within SL capabilities though. They have classy batsmen.

Not at all. It's well within SL's ability

Doesn't mean they will win of course

Srichaphan or Ancic?

What a tricky scenario to predict the match result from now. Possible rain. Reduced overs. Big score for the number of overs, to chase. Wickets tough to get. Reduced powerplays.

how is 5.97 an over a big score to chase?  It's effectively become an elongated T20.  150+ easily do-able in T20.

those smug posters backing SL must be looking and feeling pretty green...................I managed to get 12 on NZCool

Rain threat has probably gone now so SL will know what they require.

SL batting already, cannot believe 1.3 still available on cmm yes.

I dont like the theory of considering reduced one day internationals as extended T20s. They never play the same as in T20s.

well that's how they should approach it

Cricket is cricket. There's little difference if any between a 33 and 20-over game.

radar images show nothing....why is cmm still at 1.3 ??

I wouldn't be backing completed match yes at these prices.

Been thinking the same for a while.

oddly enough Duckworth Lewis may favour the bowling side here

given that SL only need 93 by the twentieth over (assuming no wickets down), they may well bat conservatively to get themselves there leaving them a pretty challenging target if the rain doesn't come.
