New Zealand need to bat for atleast another 30mins still then 30min turnaround then Sri lanka would have to bat for min 20 overs (1hr 20). Looking at the skies on b365 streaming looking very ominous. 2-3 hours rain would alo need 45mins at a guess clean up/drying time. Thoughts?

Deffo going to lose some power play overs now of course, but did we lose any after that first rain break taking it down to 48 overs?

First powerplay was reduced from 10 to 9. Still a five-over batting powerplay to come. We're losing more overs here though at the very least.

Thanks Darlo.

Srichaphan or Ancic?

who's laying 50 runs? Shocked

6 more overs to get 9 runs but voided if no more overs

lol, people are betting according to the sounds of raindrops on the video - you can tell - they stopped for a bit and the odds went up, now they started again and the odds go down. Laugh

having said that it would seem to be lighter off from where the weather was coming, on the video too.

Cricinfo says it's "pelting it down". Mind, I'm not sure how delayed their commentary is.

More or less, they would probably reduce the break though.

On the live streaming i'd say it now looks darker than it has done all day

It's a day-night match.

market doesn't seem bothered by covers coming off, not sure why. usually gets it very excited.

Problem is we've already lost more than an hour here. Not sure how much more time they have to lose before they have to call it a day anyway. Because there has to be some prospect that this isn't the last rain delay.

just market manipulators. Ignore it, and it will soon be evens.

same SoA, not at great odds though. not sure how much play we'd need for the market to go up to say 1.8/1.9 mark

Back in 10 minutes. Equals a loss of 100 minutes of play.
