said earlier I thought England can win by an innings
maybe that is pushing it but I do think they will win - only significant rain can stop them get a big total and the scoreboard pressure will be huge when saffers bat - if they need 320 to avoid the follow on that will seem enormous eng win great bet must go shorter |

england will not win here , fact
By:
Morsey topping up on eng here i see. this has all the makings of a classic morsey gubbing. expect draw to go low, eng trade 6/1+ and win now.

lix son you won't see the draw odds against again this test , fact it won't happen
both teams happy with a draw here on this flat pitch i expect sa to make more than 500 |
By:
guys give me ur thoughts about declaration,,on what score ENG ll declare
By:
england won't declare . both happy with draw . pitch is a road . hope this helps .
By:
they may declare but I would not, I would just go all out slogging to get a massive total
they have to face the new ball yet so declarations might not come into it 520+ eng need I reckon |
By:
Strauss tends not to declare. England's best chance of taking wickets is to add scoreboard pressure to the SA's so I imagine they will bat to 550+ if they can.
It seems to be the best chance to make money in this match is to hope England score 550/600 and SA start their chase well. Then back England at around 8-1 and hope for a collapse from SA. |

"both teams happy with a draw here on this flat pitch"
England won't be happy with a draw they'e in the driving seat and world #1. |

Dirk. this is classic morsey. he likes to call draws which go low and get gubbed. he has a good record at it actually. his post are all tongue in cheek. he will be laying the draw low like a goodun and posting the opposite.
By:
im not laying until lunch tomorrow..
By:
betfair must be down.. draw dont move for anything today
By:
gifted just as the new ball is due

By:

oh, right |

He's been doing it since he 1st appeared on here...
Spot the pattern? |

i'm a great defender ranking systems in general, particularly wta when there was all that brouhaha over Wozniacki, Safina and Jankovic.
but i'm struggling to accept, even before this test match, a system that has reached the conclusion that Ross Taylor has been batting more successfully in test matches than Alastair Cook over the equivalent period. as for today, South Africa have been sh1t. |
By:
don't listen to mug lix dirk son , the draw will not be seen at odds against again this test
you have my word i have a 100 % strike rate for a reason , reason is i'm top pro on here . |
By:
has anyone seen the forecast for tomorrow?
By:
forecast don't matter this pitch is so flat it might as well be raining rather than watching this sh1t cricket lol
By:
looks very tricky to bowl a side out TWICE on this track!!
By:
excellent day for draw backers . same faith awaits tomorrow .
easy money . |
By:
Often amazes me how much these test match market move overnight and i'm gonna look to take advantage here! would not suprise me if that draw price is pushed down and then maybe it'll come back up tomorrow morning!
By:
hate to say it but you look right
By:
the adage that you should never judge a wicket before both sides have batted on in could well be applicable here.
south africa has been thoroughly ordinary with the ball all day, particularly in the opening session, although if they're batting in the sun on saturday i'd have preferred Finn over Bresnan. |
By:
if any rain is forcast tomorrow draw will plunge and never be seen again
By:
See it so many times, it'll look completely different when england bowl
By:
correct max , you won't see odds against the draw again this test .
easy money to be made here . |
By:
just seen tomorrow's forecast

They said today was going to be sunshine and showers but zilcho!.
Full 5 days i think. |
By:
There will be rain tomorrow, but forecast makes it look quite hit and miss. Rest of match will be dry and I see any time that was lost being made back.
By:
listen gents , the forecast is not important .
they could play for a month on this pitch and still not get a result . it's as flat as a pancake . |
By:
Lay on SA for me - no other options yet, quite possible ENG could bowl SA out easily making the draw pretty dangerous
By:
Thursday had the worst forecast and we played 90 overs. England go at less than 3 an over and yet the draw is odds on!!
This market is akin to one you might see for a test on an Indian pitch. Sure it's a bit slow but I struggle to recall such a short draw price after day one in England. Saffers will have to face the best attack in the world 400+ behind. |
By:
agreed Injera - weather clearly not going to be a problem either
By:
this pitch is so flat 400 runs won't be a problem
By:
if i could only place one bet in the next hour for the remainder of the test it would be a lay of the draw.
however, there's a strong chance it'll go a great deal shorter before the correction starts. |
By:
mine would be england to get 10000000000000088888888362523 runs
By:
dstyle.. what i dont get is why wouldnt u just back england? SA cannot win from here... cant be done.
