yeah it would be the only market other than match odds that they may generate a bit of liquidity on instead of all the other nonsense markets that they stick up that end up with buttons matched on them at the end of the test

the danger for draw layers is if theres so much time lost to rain, will they forfeit innings etc.
By:
kingmax
When: 07 Jun 12 12:49
why would they forfeit an inning?

to make it interesting, been done before, captains arrange it.
By:

could happen. eng might be happy with a 1 innings game bowling 1st. Although the Narine factor may put them off
By:

When: 07 Jun 12 12:54
certainly wouldent be taking 1.3 the draw, especially as this is a dead test match, anything could happen with the amount of innings, worth bearing in mind.

backing draws at 1.3 on day1 of a test match is the quickest route to the poorhouse there is

forefit an innings?  Has that been done since Hansie Cronje last gave it a crack?!

Ramping up the forfeited innings scenario, in this day of match fixing do you really think any captain would be so stupid ???
By:
nigelpm1
When: 07 Jun 12 13:09
Totally hedged now.  I am sure there is no time for two innings however my worry is that the two captains decide to foreit one of their innings.  It has been done before and would make it a more exciting game.
By:

When: 07 Jun 12 13:10
why would england do that.. not a chance.. get a grip people
By:

When: 07 Jun 12 13:11
More chance of winning King!  Foreiting isn't just about match fixing.  At 1.3 I don't see massive upside.
By:

When: 07 Jun 12 13:12
source, why is the forfeited innings scenario ramping could easily happen as england would want to win 3-0 & it would give the west indies a consolation, very feasible scenario imo.

When: 07 Jun 12 13:12
A little 2/7 left, mainly 1/4 some 1/5 on the draw!!!

My estimate would be 1.27 ish end of play.

it's simple here mugs the draw is a cert it's going to rain for the whole test
1.3 is like finding money in the street
a full bank job on the draw to collect the easy free money
