layed the draw last night at 1.23
Sticking with it for now For west indies backers danger is them batting too long and putting game safe today/ firt part of tomorrow first of all. Pitch offering turn and will be tough for aussies even if 80 overs tomorrow. WI cant afford this tail to wag though as if lead only 100 then aussies will feel back in with a sniff of working way through wi and having something to go at |
By:
would prefer windies to get bowled out second dig
dont need a chanderpaul 20 off 80 balls |
By:
Cheers SY, thinking along same lines other than i think windies are gonna be skittled 2nd innings

By:
Even if they dont skittle west indies a lead less than 100 for wi means they probably bat well into tomorrow if not all out. they arent going to take any risks with it being 1st test.
crucial hour this |

that helps

they can all hold a bat these tail enders
By:
hopefuly 30/40 quick runs
By:
Edwards just horrible to face as atail ender, skiddy and very very quick
By:
good partnership this
aussies getting back in with a sniff if they bowl their socks off At very least making it tougher for west indies to get big enough lead to declare before part of way into day5 |
By:
I've been backing wi and laying the draw all match, seriously thinking I might be forced to take a red because of how one sided the market is/has been...
By:
I ll keep to my earlier comments...this would be a hard fought draw...Aussies should make another 20-30 odd runs and get the lead below 100 and Windies would either bat deep in the day tomorrow or get skittled in atleast 2 and half session...which would give them a lead of 250 odd which would not be chaseable in remaining 2 and half session by this Aussie side..Draw is free money here..!!!
By:
I agree...
By:
think windies are short now
By:
Five sessions to get through two innings is a bit daft, particularly given the concerns about the weather...
By:
I'm amazed that the draw is so much bigger than it was at the start of the day
By:
me 2
By:
but not 1.25 say 1.35,defo not a layer at 1.46 at mo
By:
Assume that the drift on the draw is partially due to the improved weather forecast rather than anything to do fall of wickets. Game has progressed somewhat as expected in that respect. Would have proffered Aussies to be slightly closer to WI rather than more than 100 behind but not a terrible position.
By:
game well set up still, not moving from 1.23 draw lay
draw rightly fav but windies could still be all out for 180 and set up great last day even if they go better, aussies still likely to have to see off 75 overs tomorrow hope weather holds |
By:
We have seen many Windies collapse in the recent past so may thats why punters still believe that Aussies might win it thats why you see Aussies rate coming in as well..windies might not drift in lower than this i guess
By:
windies backers need them all out today
By:
The drift on the draw is just daft. Five sessions to get through two innings, when it took 10 sessions to get through the first two innings, is too much - especially when you consider that the WI do not have that much of a lead now.
The draw looks huge at 1.45... |
By:
Agree with SY in that if WI are still batting at the end of the day that their chances of winnings are definitely lessoned. They will not have scored quickly enough to have forced a result and will be needing to bat in the morning of the 5th day to ensure they have enough runs.
By:
Only one possible winner in this match from here on and that would be Australia..dont see Windies winning it anymore...I am planning to take all my green on Draw and Aussies...!!!
By:
Flip flop in 2nd favourites in the match now. Amazed by that as Aussie's still someway behind on the scores. Has been a long session. Ryan Harris done some sterling work for Australia here in this knock.
By:
Agree with you Fallen Angel..thats the respect Aussies have gained over the years I guess..even the last wicket puts up a strong fight.
By:
aussies terribly short now im out of earlier back of 12s
By:
The thing with this stand is the amount of time it has chewed up as well. Nearly another 10-12 overs have been spent trying to get this last wicket. Assume this must be the last over before lunch although thought that half hour ago.
By:
WTF? Aus still in. I went away for half an hour expecting them to be all out by the time I returned!!!
Step. You still think a win for WI is nailed on? |
By:
So we don't even have five whole sessions to finish this match. Market is crazy. Draw should be 1.1 already!!
By:
I have never said that mate on the whole thread, please dont keep spouting nonsense you little bore
By:
The ironic nature of my post about greening up even went over yer head
By:
the market is bonkers if you like aussie at 5s, 12s windies is massive
By:
Step. You were going on and on about the draw being most unlikely. C'mon feller, so you got another call wrong. Lighten up will you! It's only money...
