Not sure MC at mo as need to wait and see if the heavy showers have caused any probs at ground, and also waiting on the next bank of possible showers nearer kick off time.

Storms expected in Bridgetown today if you google various weather reports...

yeah accu weather who are pretty good, seem say will be bit rain about until lunchtime, could see overs been lost anyway as seems be predicting rain for morning session |

Even if there are plenty of overs I can see the Windies being rather stubborn today. Maybe Aus will get a session and a half or something to get 200 runs...
By:
yes folks heavy showers have been coming and going all morning a new batch about 30 mins away
By:
draw on the drift
By:
yes, just a waiting game at mo
By:
really want to lay the draw, whats the weather doing now?
By:
Last time I looked at a Web cam I didn't see any rain (although that can be difficult to pic up thru TV), but it looked very, very windy...
By:
I think if it was raining the draw would be shortening, so on that basis i am going to lay the draw, cant see the windies batting another 40 overs so there should be plenty of time for Oz to get the runs or get skittled out.

By:
backed back little bit of 1.23 draw lay but keeping rest on side
aussies will be fresh and come at windies tough first up, fancy early breakthroughs |
By:
the webcam im looking at doesnt look like its raining but it does look dull.

JUst to clear something up Nigel clamed the runs lines for the windies at the close of play last night were around 200, they were not and are not, they are around 160, which would give wi a 200 run lead. As I posted yesterday, if that was autralia's target i believe then would go for it with anything as few as 40 overs and.
Good luck all, i actually expect them to be chasing more like 180-190 in about 55-60 overs. And when the aussies are 80-6 that's when it will get interesting. ![]() |

what time does it kick off?
By:
2.53
By:
200 off 50 would be an interesting target with all 3 results possible
By:
dougy - that is where the market on BF (which isn't highly liquid admittedly) was at that time - it's moved
By:
NP's nige, nothing personal. Just pushing the it wont be a draw agenda.
By:
hoping for rain or windies to see close to 40 overs out, can't see them going at 2 an over when sammy get's in,if these two in now can see 1/2hr out think I'll trade some of my draw green sub 1.8
By:
one over down!

Two overs down

78-6

one wicket down!

Four overs down. At this rate the Windies will be all out after 15 overs...!
By:
do all the overs have to be bowled or is there a cut off time.
By:
all must be bowled - weather permitting
By:
Well, if there's weather they will have to lose overs. But I can't see them getting to the 90th over with Aus needing 5 runs or something and calling it a day...
By:
that's what happened in the India v West Indies test RJB. When the overs are up, they're up
By:
OK. Well, I'm on the draw anyway. If WI keep going at 4 an over for another 20 overs that will suit me fine...
By:
I think aus will probably be aware of when the overs are up
By:
draw love is unrelenting.. its almost always been a massive lay (nothing new there)
By:
Market is officially mad, if there's no weather about

By:
sammy wants to win
