windies need to bat another 40 overs wouldnt take 2.2 on that

The issue is the time in that WI get another 75/100 runs by tomorrow lunch.  Aussie's won't go kamakaze and lose.

no way will oz try for 200 off 50 - too risky IMHO

Apparently we can't play after 5.30 so with the shadows lengthening, this is the final over of the day...

how do you know that nigel? aussie were 14s at start of play with most posters saying no chance Shocked

No chance the darw is a certy if windies make it to lunch will have a lead of 220-250 max with 60 overs left in the day. Aussies attempt to chase that down every day of the week, windies need to either up their runrate dramatically or bat for at least a session and a half tomorrow.

the issue is runs to overs left for OZ
if windies bat till lunch and only put another 70 runs on the board then fancy OZ
to get them

Another session would give windies a lead 180-200 leaving Aus about 55-60 overs to get them?

Wouldn't they go for it

I think the windies get Bowled out anyway but the draw bet is a weather bet as I said earlier

Windies stinking value here IMO

By:

And they will probably be chasing something under 4 an over

If the Aussies go too defensive they could get bowled out

I'm not saying they get it peter, with warner up fron there is no doubt given the arrogant nature of this aussie team that they go for it, and it would more likely be 220 in 40 that they'd have a pop at.

if aus are smashing them everywhere cant see west indies racing through the overs.

Shocked at how ineffective the WIndies spinners have been on this pitch: Bishoo 1-125 and Deonarine 0-36

When: 10 Apr 12 23:31
Not a wind up chaps.  Market has runs at 200 which would give WI a 250 ish lead - it will take too long to score that many

aussies will chase ANYTHING. clarkey didnt declare his first innings so that they can play a draw....his intentions pretty clear.

92overs to be played tommorow less 2overs for change over of inninngs so will be 90overs to be played.

currently they lead by 114runs,

I see the west indies doubling their score to lets say 150, however at the rate they have been going adding 80runs will eat up 40overs.

That would mean the aussies having 50overs to chases 195 or more. I think clarke will then not take the risk of losing this even when they where flying earlier in week run rate wasnt above 3runs an over.

yeah its possible to chase at 4 runs an over, but its not advisable on this pitch.
