Agree, d13. I needed to back the draw to balance my book, and exactly an hour ago almost forced myself to price it up at as low as 9/4, so I could back it at 3.35.

Here we are  just an hour later, batting looking not much easier, only 30 more runs scored, yet the draw's firmly odds on. I still wouldn't make it much shorter than 7/4 against at this point.

he might be speaking to cricinfo about one of those foreign correspondent jobs that do exist according to the footage of someone writing a report earlier

The draw looks right to me.  WI look much steadier now and AUS won't go for anything.  If they get a draw that's a lot more than they expected a few hours back

I thought that Morse would make an appearance in the IPL thread earlier. "Dhoni can't get it off square". Grin

Still so much time left in this game, nigel. A 2.5-hour morning session tomorrow will be one hell of a task for the batsmen.

My prices right now
WI 15/2
Aus evens
Draw 13/8

I assumed they'd still have time to make up from overs lost, hence another early start.

Seems I was wrong. Sorry.

after laying the draw at 4 for a massive amount at the start of play (expecting typical wi fall of wickets)

saw it plummet to 2

exited at 2 taking massive 50% red on draw 0 on others

still knew draw will go up at least once

saw it touching 1.2 ,layed massive making red bigger on draw

backed draw at 1.4 but still big red and 0 on both others

waited

backed draw at 4.2 when WI 4 down, took a big greenGrin

layed sequentially to to finaly get agreen to buy a popcorn Grin

u can guess how much trouble I was in

thats the game, thats betting, you win some day you loose some day

bye for now tc Tongue Out

be amazed if they don't start at least 15 mins earlier tomz screaming. aus essentially need 1 wicket before they hit the tail. baugh and sammy can bat but very hit and miss

just a daft rule nigel where they have cut off time to get in extra overs not bowled in time

if they dont get them in then overs lost

so get daft situation where players often go off in bright sunshine with overs to bowl

Right now:
WI 8
Aus 5/4
Draw 5/4

How would YOU price it up, peter?

Hoping that the Windies can dig in here. Strange though that their top order struggled more than Australia's tail.
By:

When: 10 Apr 12 22:10
Windies have slowed it down pathetically..no point batting long unless you score something...41 balls for 2 runs...ridiculous..to say the least
By:
kingmax
When: 10 Apr 12 22:14
how can that be worth 100 ticks
By:
Payal
When: 10 Apr 12 22:14
Exactly my point..all hard work for no use if you are not scoring any runs..Australia wont mind it if they have to score 150 odd in two and half session. They would score it for sure

When: 10 Apr 12 22:19
backed a small amount to lay

expect to touch it 1.8 soon
By:
dougydougy.
When: 10 Apr 12 22:20
Payal is spot on, the windies can't just block here, they have to score runs they're going nowhere here, need to get this lead up to 200+ somehow

By:

When: 10 Apr 12 22:23
Windies Should be thinking 60-70 more and then over to Aus

Draw will be out with the washing unless it rains

I'm balls deep laying it
By:
dougydougy.
When: 10 Apr 12 22:24
Draw price is officially madness. anyone backing it here at 2.2 for long term profit is a loony toon imo
