Aussie bowling has crumbled under pressure here.
By:
People have been using it since the 18th century as a betting system. It's a no brainer. You toss a coin heads comes up and you lose, so you double your stake and bet on heads again. If you keep doubling your stake you are bound to win eventually.
In fact, you could argue that much of our wonderful financial system here in the West is based on it and look how well that has worked! |

my 1.62 oz back looking rather ropey
By:
Value with the Aussies here.
By:
@steptoe - i backed them at 1.5 but oh well, just going to let it run all the way!
By:
ugly shot to finish his century and then he gets out but well played Polly.
If they win this game it's down to his fine work |
By:
Anybody else think that Brett Lee is finished?

wow

I'm off to crack open a Fosters. Easy chase!
![]() |
By:
how quick has he been bowling Mariner Paul?
haven't been looking. once his pace drops there's not a great deal there. this is a thoroughly ordinary side under watson though. if they get warner early doors here, it could well be game over. |
By:
145 runs from the final 12 overs, now that's how to finish an innings.
gonna be a tough chase and i'm not sure i'd say that there's that much value in Aussies at the moment but if you fancy them it's probably best being on at the start because the 2 openers are the men to get them moving |
By:
Been finished for a long time. No longer as quick as he once to beat batsmen was and lacks consistency to be effective. Why Aus persist with him as their death bowler is beyond me. He's very expensive at the end ad easy to score off.

this is only true if u have a big enough bank.. |
By:
So! Oz now need to go at a run a ball from the off. Stats show that Oz highest total at this ground was 258 for 4 in 2003...

By:
Fosters. yuck.

Kingmax. So you think I was being serious? That says a lot more about you than your comment says about me...
![]() |
By:
Alright guys. Layed aus at 1.52, do you think I should have faith in the windies bowlers or look to put some on aus?
By:
It's the same with the lottery, Kingmax. If you keep buying a ticket every week you are bound to win in the long run. The problem is, as Keynes said, in the long run we are dead...
By:
Kingmax. So you think I was being serious? That says a lot more about you than your comment says about me..
serious to a point.. i would never touch that system, but if you had billions you couldnt lose, as long as you had someone lined up to take your £12 billion bet when you have 80 losers in a row.. ![]() |
By:
Problem with Aus so far this series is there have been no partnerships. Not so sure things will change today...
By:
kingsmax - quit reposting that idiot please. i blocked him for a reason :)
By:
Gone with Aussies top opening bat at 3.75.
Can see a good quick opening from the boys and could see them take the top opener prize at the 10 over mark. |
By:
Kingmax. If you bet a penny with the Martingale system and keep doubling your stake when you lose, if you have a losing streak as long as a month you will have gone through a million pounds.
I just get the impression that some punters on Betfair don't realise this, which is why some of the flipflopping can be so extreme... |
By:
That's not nice CAPS LOCK...
By:
"I will pay you a penny for the first day you work and I will double it every day for a month" no thanks

Australia apparently favourites for the World T20 in Sri Lanka with that bowling attack.
By:
Australia are in trouble here
By:
nug market rules stipulate that Australia must be favourites for all cricket world cups, no matter where they take place.
I'd fancy Pakistan myself but will be interested to see how Englands bowlers get on in the tests. Windies in a great position here, defend this and they can't lose the series which is more than they would have hoped for at the start. |
By:
WI 1.66? A bit optimistic that. Watto and Warner out and the game is most likely over
By:
Yes FF how naive of me to forget that rule.
By:
We must all be grateful for that rule ff.
By:
Took a small red here. Too tough a chase.
By:
This is going to be easy for WI - too much pressure on the rr for Aus here.
By:
I love watching Aussies fall apart..........
By:
Oh dear. Didn't someone say that Warner was going to get a big total?
By:
If WI lose from here they will be the biggest mugs on whole planet Earth
By:
I sense a wicket is coming

jesus, outfield is like greaaaaaaaaaase lightning...
