Looking at the position and counting up the pieces, you would initially think that white only has to capture blacks solitary pawn and it's a draw. Well, sure, but whites position is really tough, he is completely tied up and can't make any headway. He has three separate islands of pawns, which is weak, a king that is in a poor position and no clear way to make any headway. Now look at the black position. An active bishop, a strongly placed active king and his pawn is safe for now. Note that if blacks pawn were on the h-file, say h2 or h3, it's a draw. The reason being that black can only get the pawn in to h8 to queen if his bishop is the same colour as the queening square, which it isn't. (Try and set up the position, take all the white pawns off and move the black pawn to h2 or h3 and see if you can get the pawn in).

ck to the original position. All black needs to do is manouevere his bishop to b4 then d2/e1 and start picking up whites weak pawns. Once the white pawns at f4 and h4 fall, all he has to do is keep an eye on the b-pawn while bringing his king forward to attack the remaining f pawn. White will eventually run out of king moves, black king takes remaining f pawn, marches his own pawn in.
