Everyone surely must accept that someone sitting up in bed, not on oxygen or a ventilator, talking away with staff, should not be taking up a valuable bed in the Intensive Care Unit. Says Doctor politics...yet another nob |

Nye Bevan must be turning in his grave that our much loved precious national institution is being abused by a total clown like Boris.

I was once in ICU for about 16 hours.. (not covid related), as soon as possible i was out and in a high dependency ward (less intensive).. I was conscious in ICU for about 1 hour...
I know He's the Prime Minister, so perhaps the rules / guidelines are different.. |

Take your politics out of this, the heads of government fecked uo, doesnt matter who was in charge, fact is, they c0cked up, n h s cant handle this

The WHO was defending china as late as January 30th, pretty fair to say most countries in the world have been taken by surprise by the sudden, scale and virulent behaviour of this virus. The hindsight crew know all the answers.

Italy were warning us for 5 weeks put it over the tanoy for doris at Twickenham, loudspeakers at chelt, spain told doris about madrid playing at anfield 4,000 madrid fans, plenty of countries in Europe doing far better than uk and we,re an island
Johnson has failed abysmally , as he did with the floods and because of the holly grail of Brexit people prepared to suck up shoite show after shoite show just to get Brexit done, 10 years of austerity for absolutely nothing only making us worse prepared ,services fooked and we,re worse off than in 2008 |

"he's just going to the hospital for testing"
"oh well now he's in the ICU just in case" "ok he's spent several nights in the ICU but is responding to treatment" "he is.....uh.....mentally able to make decisions" |
|
By:
If he's conscious, sitting up and talking, not to mention "continues to improve" he'd be on a normal ward ffs
Sorry but I'm no longer buying it, its obviously staged to gain public attention Pish poorly done because anyone who knows anything about ICUs and hospitals will know how it works |
|
By:
I don't mind them saying he's badly and needs to stay away
But this whole hospital stuff is so poorly done its a joke now You don't get sent to ICU for a little fever and cough, people, you need to be in serious bloody condition to be in there |
|
By:
I feel it is a little insulting. If you have heard Linda Lusardi on the ITV emotionally describing what she went through you would be very angry that this Oxygen Thief is taking up an ICU bed. He is probably well enough to go home now either to his wife or girlfriend and stop wasting valuable NHS resources. This is a tough illness to recoup from so he might be better off away from Downing Street for a while.

Its insulting all right, to our intelligence ffs

They clarified that 140 of those deaths took place on Wednesday, while 568 happened within the previous week and the remaining 57 were from March.
Just noticed this on the death figures report on Sky News today. They are only just reporting some figures from March? Clearly going to massage the figures to keep them under 1k. I'm sorry but how has the bottom comment come to that conclusion? i mean deaths are being added from March and he thinks its to massage the figures to keep them UNDER... This is a stupidity we are dealing with at this point. I mean they are adding numbers from last month to raise the figure and make them look worse if anything ffs. |
|
By:
So the deaths today aren't even the past 24 hours ffs, they've just admitted it on live televison
The mind boggles |
|
By:
The figures are manipulated to look better, terrible way of collecting data, the only reason i can think is to show no spike in graph
the truble is the tories are such liars ad johnson you just don't know wat thet are upto..Not one person has said this is the best way of cillecting data they have deaths from all over the place and dates but it's no reflecting the real titals and so effects the trajectory.. |
|
By:
how do you know
are you a medical man or an expert in statistics or just a follower of the guardian that well known balanced news sheet (with a chip on each shoulder) the ground is thick with 'experts' on here who know very very little about anything and strangely most sing from the same hymn sheet |
|
By:
Gigg read those 2 comments again and try to wrap your head around it please
You're suppose to be a gambling expert |
|
By:
they are waiting for someone with a serious condition and then get them in hospital killing them off with co19
|
|
By:
How is adding deaths from March massaging the figures? 57 deaths? couldn't have been added over 3 days in mid march?
500 odd deaths in 7 days added into todays total, again that isn't 24 hours is it 140 deaths in 24 hours, they making themselves look ridiculous now, and the best part about it the public are convinced there's dead bodies being hid under the table Dead bodies being hid ![]() |
|
By:
paperwork, telling family, death certs etc but they seem to manage to get an even spread everyday,in theory no reason why you wouldn't have 1500 one day and 200 the next,in fact more likely than this 700/900 spread everyday
|
|
By:
Their basically holding back deaths so they can bump the figures down the road
I mean I thought that was self explanatory by this point 140 deaths in the past 24 hours, the rest are from the past few weeks, they've practically admitted this with that bombshell Are they getting bored? I can't believe the s*** I'm reading with the sheep really can't, no wonder they get off scot free, no wonder the witch (Fauci) is almost bursting into laughter ffs |
|
By:
They are talking about going back to February, checking those bodies for it
Why are they doing that? and are those that "have it" going to be added into the new figures being released? |
|
By:
One argument you could come back at me with is they were hiding those deaths to stop it going above 900/1000
That wouldn't really stack up either, we are 500 +57, the could have just bumped the numbers over a 3 or 4 day period and got rid of them that way, the whole thing is now making zero sense, this will create more "conspiracy theories" which is probably what they want People are starting to question the legitimacy of this thing now so its deflection time ![]() |
|
By:
With Johnson its always "he's improving" I mean by the time he gets out of that hospital he'd have become superman ffs
Why isn't their no footage or pics of him in intensive care? they didn't mind filming normal people in ICU did they |
|
By:
I Think Boris might not be progressing to the degree we've been told, it was reported that he's sitting up in bed and able to make decisions but Raab, his deputy, let slip today that he's not spoke to him since he went into hospital.
|
|
By:
It's a tricky one as to how much information should be given regarding the health of a patient in ICU, even if he is the PM.
I just wonder if there will be pictures of him clapping from his hospital bed tonight. |
|
By:
If he's improving and sitting up he shouldn't be in a ICU he can be moved into his own room where the media could talk to him through the glass window
|

the ground is thick with 'experts' on here who know very very little about anything I have to agree with moisok here for once although to be fair to me I did not have the Prime Ministers privileged educational background but despite that I managed not to infect The Health Secretary or The Chief Medical Officer. Not forgetting the Prime Minister also managed to infect the mother of his unborn child and hopefully Dominic Cummings. Despite not having an Elton education I did manage to work out it might be dangerous to fly to Rome on March 13th so did not even though I had paid for my airline ticket ticket, hotels, match tickets for Stadio Olympico, a flight to Barcelona, another hotel and a flight back to Blighty. What I don’t understand is how the Prime Minister who was educated at one of the finest schools in the world and had a host of the country’s finest scientists around him and The Health Secretary couldn’t work out that shaking hands with people who had covid-19 would endanger the lives of his unborn child and girlfriend. I am also a little concerned that all the people on Betfair who are not medical men or statisticians seem to know more than the fat bloke on how to stay safe and their views are not considered by this stupid Government and his are! |

'duffy', possibly, but I hope it's to deter Bojo from focusing too much on tackling Covid-19, and not on his recovery from Covid-19. And, as it's evidently clear it's too early to lift "lockdown" a proper consultation with Bojo is unnecessary. Regards video evidence of the state of Bojo in hospital it could be against the wishes of his family, disruption in the ward and logistics (healthwise).
Nevertheless, a picture or film about his well-being in hospital in the next few day will speak volume. |

By:
You have to own up they've over reported the UK deaths in the past 24 hours
Its not 800+ is it because 600 of them died weeks ago So in fact its more like 200 today |
|
By:
imvho i would of thought they would want to keep the numbers high.even climbing each day ,with the prospect of a bank holiday weekend looming.you know the great british public,if they seen a downturn they would be out in force this weekend.

Sontaran whether you are right or wrong,do you not think it is prudent to overestimate the danger?
Just suppose there are more cases that aren't showing symptons,it doesn't mean it may be more prevalent than you think? You are going a dangerous route, you should WAIT. |
