Hope you both feel better soon Clyde and casemoney. With the shivering and shakes, I found paracetamol helped ease those symptoms with the infection I had in December, so do keep taking them Clyde. And the doctors have certainly recommended Covid sufferers to keep taking paracetamol. I remember when I was young, painkillers would always help sweat an infection out over night. No such luck when you're an adult unfortunately (our livers have probably got used to taking too many over the years, and in any case, the strains have got more vicious - come back the common cold, all is forgiven!)

Slept for 7 hours last night. Was having this dream where the UK was being drenched in COVID-19, then suddenly woke up drenched in another pool of sweat. I'd lost another 3lbs overnight. Gone from 11st 10lbs to 11st during this. After having a bath and going downstairs started to feel stomach pains. Another hour of diarrhea, but feel that was just getting rid of the last remnants of the virus. My last symptons .. the throat is 90% better, and the cough has virtually gone, just a runny nose left. I know I've beaten this fecker off now. I feel like I've been on a bastard detox session that has left me mentally, emotionally and physically drained. It's like when you see those letters from home in IMAC and everyone breaks down. Outside looking in you are thinking, what are they playing at.
It's bizarre how this manifests itself in completely different ways to different people . Three of my four kids aged 14-23, all living at home, have no symptons at all. It's also thankfully refreshingly lonely on this thread. I fear for Dr. C. I know than it can start off very mild indeed and turn. |

Eggs baby! You have to keep your sheite together and there is nothing finer than eggs Boiled eggs, eggs and soldiers, fried egg on toast, omelette You need to eat well and good nutritious food. Grapes are number 1 on my list, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries I can however appreciate you may not feel like eating so salt sugar and fat! Ready meals from Aldi Stew and dumplings, Lancashire Hotpot, sausage and mash, cottage pie Once you have eaten these you may be ready to eat the berries mentioned earlier and the eggs! Drink plenty of water or hot sweet tea at the very least and open the windows get plenty of fresh air |

Every person i talk to claims to have had the virus (none tested of course)...in reality well over 80% of those who end up in hospital with the WORST symptons and are tested dont have KungFlu. So if you think you've had it you probably haven't.

That statement just cant be true.. That's a Fact. |
|
By:
what percentage that are tested have it then ???
|
|

Mate, your figures are ridiculous... Just pointing that out.
So if you think you've had it you probably haven't. Also My opinion on this statement, would be the compleat opposite. |

If you take the government issued figures as of yesterday, 195,524 tests have been performed.
Of those, 47,806 produced positive tests, that's 24.5%, thus 75.5% negative. |
|
By:
From 1 to 5 April, 52,338 tests, 22,656 positive or 43.3%.

Eric, did you really give your first post 5 stars? ![]() ![]() 1000-1 any other fecker did.. ![]() |

Emit You fookwitted tool...lets start again nice and slowly
We have tested nearly 200,000 people, virtually all to people already in hospital who are sick with virus symptons. There not testing people with broken arms, slipped discs of any other injury/illness. They are testing them as they have a high chance of having Covid-19 and yet 75% of the test are negative. So you tell me fella, people at home with lesser symptoms and therefore not in hospital, do you think its is likely that they've got Covid or not ???? Simple question that even you should be able to answer |
|
By:

![]() I'll ignore all the Snide rhetoric surrounding your simple question... ![]() Yes. I would consider it more than likely they have Covid-19 at this time. You ****! ![]() |

Researchers working in the Italian town of Vò, the site of the first COVID-19 death in Italy, conducted two rounds of testing on the entire population of about 3,400 people, about ten days apart. About half the people testing positive had no symptoms, and all discovered cases were quarantined. With travel to the commune restricted, this eliminated new infections completely.[71]. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_testing

So rather than those you think they have it presenting probs, those that have no symptoms are prob more a risk
. Testing is a complete minefield, the politics of trying to appear s ahead of of the game is expensive and in the end pretty pointless unless we are going to move to antibody tests and issue medical passports, even then with the possabity of cats and to a lesser degree dogs carrying the virus, what about other animals? It's not foolproof. And just because the curve flattens it would quickly steepen if we just go back to carry on as usual mode. Harder lock down and total isolation looks impossible in places like London so unsure where we go from here, I would go harder now, would make sense. |
