Over on Horse racing we are worried about Striding Edge who runs the lay competition. Disappeared for about 4/5 days a while ago, came back to say was unwell with a fever and a dry cough, hadn't been tested so didn't know if virus or not, was back for a few days every day and has since disappeared again with no word whatsoever, lives on his own, we are worried.

I self isolated on Monday after having a pretty continuous cough at the weekend. Only other symptom is that I feel pretty tired all the time and am knackered after my daily walk round the block. In saying that, none of my family show any sign, the cough has rescinded, so hopefully just a cold/mild flu. Best wishes to all affected for a speedy recovery.

How would anyone know if they had the virus or not ?

Only people who have been tested would actually have results .

There could be millions who have or have had covid 19 and are none the wiser .

I feel confident that the good doctor will pull through the virus however i fear for him surviving the accompanying propaganda. Now that is sure to finish him off Grin

Diarrhoea and No Toilet Rolls...does not bear thinking about

Tere needs to be an official list of symptoms somewhere

If that woman had been tested earlier maybe something could have been done for her?

If she had it for weeks she risked infecting others?

case similarish here.  Feel more or less fine, and put it down to a slightly blocked up nose, causing a mild headache and a mild very intermittent cough, but did have slight digestive issues yesterday.  Thought it was strange since my hands have never been so clean!

Think we are likely a nation of hypochondriacs.

every time I sneeze due to the sudden rise in pollen in the garden I wonder but my scientific brain tells me I have not been within 10 metres of another human other than my wife for 10 days now so I should be approaching a safe place.
I am over 75, have had one or two health issues 4-5 years ago which might trigger the letter from the NHS about taking further measures but:
I have not had a text from the Government
I have not had a letter.
I have not had a leaflet about ordering stuff from local hub volunteers.

I don't want any of those but as I am clearly in the at risk group then why haven't I?

Dr on radio yesterday stressing If you're getting any cold/flu like symptoms (from here on in) it's almost certainly gonna be Corona virus.. This **** is so infectious. There's no escaping just delaying. You're gonna be super unlucky to die especially in this Country. GL Guys.

Must be loads of peeps suffering from over use of cleaning fluids, lack of fresh air, heating too high, pet allergies, lack of exercise, too much drink, overdosing on vitamins ect ect.      Talking of hoovers, rem my da bought my mum a Dyson and the old carpet was stripped bare in a few weeks, hope these Dyson ventilators are restricted.... Can't imagine there is much pollen around atm sage, sneezing not a big symptom, think for the elderly if you get it you will know.Dont want to be going near hospitals needlessly, sort your **** out guys ffs.

Warm weather over last few days has released lots of tree pollen:

Only region in UK with a noticeable pollen count is in north west Eng, everywhere else is low. Oil seed rape does not flower until much later, usually June although if its GM its sown with weedkiller as the plant is resistant to it, but even if its not the act of sowing can produce a lot of dust. You guys need to calm down, straight head time dudes. Best bnb.
