Another 800 die in Italy within a week the number of daily deaths with surpass the their national daily average.
The other concerning figure with Italy is the proportion of deaths linked to new cases. Both figures are rising daily but the ratio of deaths to people infected is reducing daily. This is only the beginning the complacency on her is staggering. If this was just like seasonal flu the whole world wouldn't be shutting down, cancelling everything and pumping hundreds of billions into the economic system. |

56 in the UK today, 233 cumulative, 17th day since the first reported death
Italy was on 366 at a similar stage, they reported 793 today, 4,825 cumulative on their day 30 |

"Half the country must have been infected by now."
Such utter sh1te. So you've ran your own statistical model you? You know better of course. Just Checking, Please keep your foul language to yourself. And if you haven't run a statistical model yourself in order to challenge other people's views, then shut up. |

This is getting quite consistent. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday saw a nigh-on perfect double up of new cases (2000 to 4000), which equates to 1.26 per day. This meant that the figure had to be circa 5040 today for that to continue... 5018 isn't far short!
100% of the population by early May is still on course. |

The more they test the more they find.
Test a 100 people one day and 5 could be positive. Test another 100 people the day after and they could find 5 more. Cases will double, if they do it like that. |

Crippen, wildly and arrogantly claiming baised on NOTHING (other than your own inflated opinions) that half the population has been infected, then getting all petulant when someone calls you out on such a palably ridiculous claim you've made based on nothing, when you clearly think you know better than every other expert on the planet, pretty much sums you up.

No walking in the park in France apparently boxing, they are arresting people for being out without good reason. If you want to go for a jog, you are apparently allowed to go out and circle round the block you live in ;)
I'm not sure if they have foxes in French parks, if they do they'll be taking over! I saw a photo the other day from Thailand I think it was and there were about 100 monkeys flowing down the street like a monkey river. They are normally fed by tourists. No tourists = hungry monkeys = monkeys searching for food. Even they are victims. Funny how these things knock on. I'd imagine our ducks might now be suffering in a similar way? FFS nobody has bread to give to them as it's all stockpiled in chav kitchens! |

My refutal is based on common sense. It's based on not suggesting, something anyone with any common sense in the country never mind the experts, that the total infected is actually TEN THOUSAND TIMES BIGGER AND approx 32 MILLION PEOPLE. That every SECOND PERSON in the country, "must" have been infected by now.
Never mind the absurdity of such a claim in isolation (see what I did there!), it would also indicate an infection growth rate that is many MULTIPLES of the infection rate detected by everyone involved in the whole godamned world, with a statistical sample size to go on of : the whole godamned world. What arrogance does it take to sit there, the armchair general of pandemics, and proclaim you know more about this than all the experts in the world who are working night and day on this, whose careers have been devoted to this sort of thing? |

Why be such a bore Just Checking?
Just move on. This supposed to be casual conversation not the Houses of Parliament where every utterance comes under scrutiny. If you can't make conversation without a bit of give and take and being rude into the bargain, then I feel sorry for you. |

https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-woman-hospital-warns-people-who-doubt-will-affect-them-2020-3?r=US&IR=T . A 39-year-old coronavirus patient who could hardly breathe posted a stark video from the ICU to warn people who think it won't happen to them |

^ A 39-year-old coronavirus patient in the UK posted a harrowing video from her hospital bed describing her symptoms. Breathing is now "like having glass in your lungs," she told the MailOnline.
The outlet said Tara Jane Langston was a healthy gymgoer who had thought the coronavirus issue was overblown. She said she made the video to warn others who are still not socially distancing. |

why then hysteria about walking along the coastline ...out in the open air ... people not coughing or kissing ... better than all cooped up in groups in houses surely ?
are these health gurus stupid enough to believe that the groups e.g congregated in arcades etc are going to suddenly change their behaviour when at home ffs get a fooken grip you academic boneheads ..they'll probably have a dozen friends round later tonight for a meet up with a bottle of prosecco and a crate of beer clueless to the last |
