People have been whipped up into a frenzy over Coronavirus,.
Most who get it soon recover without seeing a doctor or being tested. Idris Elba who's got it started off with a headache and little else. That doctor in the video had it for 4 days and got better. Others are walking about with it and don't know they've got it. If you're healthy there's not much to worry about. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

it may be worse than that 1tp, one study found that the median time to start shedding (and so infecting others) is a bit lower than the median time to show symptoms, that means you are infecting others before you even know you are ill. that makes testing even harder.

I'm 57 years old and not once have I ever seen anything like this reaction; this is uncharted territory and the only thing we can do is look back at the real pandemics of the past to get some sort of grip on the potential of this one. Judging by the reaction this doesn't look great, unless there really is some underlying motive... see the conspiracy theorists for that one.
On the back of this I have been toying with the figures and in three days, the UK has grown from 1,900+ cases to 3,900+ cases (last night), which is double. If that were to continue, which we all know it probably won't, but let's say it did, then that's the whole UK population infected by the first week in May!  We may not know anyone who has it and we may not know anyone who knows someone who has it, but should the first two or three enter our circle, then that would be the time to be a tad concerned... maybe. On a concerned scale of 1-10, with 10 being paranoid, I would say I was currently at 2, even with underlying medical conditions. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Here are the cumulative reported deaths by country, counting the days from the first day that a death was reported.
The figure shown for Italy at Day 30 is the Day 29 figure, we will likely see it closer to 5,000 than 4,000 once they release todays toll. Similar for Spain, the Day 20 figure shown is their not yet finalised Day 19 figure. This is scary stuff, those who continue to downplay it really need to look at the evidence.

Those are reported deaths caused by covid-19. People who have tested positive.

Half the country must have been infected by now. But it's a relatively mild infection if you're healthy, because you body will soon fight it off. I've never doubted that Dr C and make you 100% correct. If I caught a nasty bug and phoned 111 I am all but certain I would be told to self-isolate and if it clears up, nobody will ever know.

I went to the dentist yesterday and they are now only treating emergencies, of which mine was. The two key questions were "is there pain?" and "is it keeping you awake at night?" - if it's general treatment then forget it.

its easy to get your death average down,massage figures either way just test more, get it down further by testing in area,s with no suspected hotspots, or test only young people in hotspots etc etc

We can all be certain that the official figures are not the actual figures, because there is no way of knowing until it starts hitting the percentages. It is still only a fraction of 1% today.

Good point and something I hadn't really considered, I was diagnozed with IGA Nephropathy (same thing that killed Jonah Lomu but his kidney's had already suffered damage by the time he was diagnozed), I was lucky, a routine urine test discovered my illness and a biopsy uncovered that my kidneys had not suffered any damage. I've been on immuno-suppressants as my immune system is rejecting my own kidneys for the more than 20 years and consequently I am more open to infection and disease than most but through all this time I have remained healthy and barely even contracted so much as a cold, in fact, my consultant tells me that I am a bit of a freak case as my kidney's have not deteriorated one bit in all that time. Based on the site I've been following then the new case rate has dropped significantly today. I was expecting around 5000 cases after a 3-day double-up, but it is less than 4100... we're saved!
