Average age in India is only 26, Africa is 19! if youngsters don't get it or pass it on they will fare better. Italy 45, UK 40.

800 dead in a day is nothing?

800 is absolutely nothing, there's actual evidence they died of anything, what did they die of?

Covid19? you could walk outside your house and be clobbers by a bird on the wrong part of your head and its lights out, Phillip Hughes the cricketer springs to mind

800 is nothing when you look at the broader picture, they ain't providing evidence of anything, putting a number out there and everyone is running round panicking

There is reasoning, people are dying of pneumonia right now, old people are dying of sepsis right now

Are these getting added into the Corona Dance figures?

There is a virus, people get tested for it, and then if they die the death certificate says that caused their death
It's not rocket science is it?

When people die of AIDS, it's not AIDS that kills them, surely that's not hard to understand

You are showing yourself to be a halfwit firing off posings like a machine gun making out there is no crisis.

You can't keep saying that they were going to die soon anyway so that doesn't count
By:
jucel69
When: 21 Mar 20 19:03
800 died today in Italy because they contracted this virus
Maybe 100 would have died anyway but that's conflating the issue
By:

These are a very controlled figure at the moment

Didn't Spain have 1000 deaths yesterday?

I think more have died not just the 800, I thinks 10,000 have died at the very least
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 21 Mar 20 19:04
They are controlling the figure

Millions are going to die over the next 2 months
By:
jucel69
When: 21 Mar 20 19:05
I agree that millions are going to die
I believe hundreds of thousands died in China and our govts knew about it but didn't want to cause panic
That's why you have these unprecedented moves

80% of people will be able to treat it at home with paracetamol, it's not a death sentence.
The panic is OTT but that's that people do, panic!
It's just that a lot of people will need to be ventilated and ventilation requires a team of doctors/nurses and lengthy times of recovery
By:

When: 21 Mar 20 19:11
I'd like to note the number 233 seems to be used for all these modelling figures as well

We've now had 233, Italy had 233 as well, china reported 233 as one of their stats

Go figure
By:

You will see the numbers escalate massively when it runs through Africa and India.
The evidence so far is that getting people onto ventilators saves lives
Germany have managed to do that so far, but most countries do not have their capabilities.

Jucel

It is a death sentence if you get it properly, you're dead if it hits properly

not necessarily, look at Germany, it's all about getting tested and ventilated

By:

I think if you are over 70 then you are going to struggle, especially with underlying issues
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 21 Mar 20 19:15
No you will die if you get it properly

Italy will have 1000s dead in their homes because they haven't been treated

We're dead if we get the bad luck of contracting it
By:
jucel69
When: 21 Mar 20 19:15
5-10 % of the population (mainly old) will succumb, 500 -700 million deaths

This virus attacks the immune system and makes it turn on itself

We're totally screwed if we catch it

It does seem a nasty virus I'm trying my hardest not to get it that's for sure
Drowning in bed gasping for air isn't on my top ten ways to die!
