Boris Johnson: I'm not saying *flim flam* it doesn't exist, just some people are dying of what we deem normal diseases

Reporter: The public are demanding you retract that comment

1tp this is way above the idiot governments, the governments have no choice to play along with it

Trump does keep blurting out its not what it seems though, like he's trying to tell us its all nonsense

why would the right wing stand by say nothing, question nothing,as the uk lands itself with debts of 2nd world war levels which will land the country with tax rises for generations, all for reclassifying how dead old people are recorded on a death certificate, its all plausible but yet the right wing nut jobs who have had no problem making a kooont of themselves 24/7 for 4 years cant summon a single person to put their heads above the parapet and questioning this

For fear of being called a bore,5G was switched on fully Wuhan Nov 2019 and one of the many side effects and there are many, all bad,is pneumonia, so will the same happen here when the bastards switch it on? Is that how they seem to know its going to get much worse?

They are pretty much telling you 1tp

Trump spends most of his time arguing the toss with reporters, if this was read do you think they'd be having petty arguments about public panic?

These people know its a load of rubbish hence the laughing and joking in press conferences

And if we did have a spreading pandemic, everyone is in danger, do you really think they'd be doing these press conferences? like you can die and everyone is going to die but oh look lets do some pressers ffs

It's far more likely that the UK will look to blame other illnesses rather than the 'Wuhan Dance' as you call it. They don't want to test people and don't want people in hospitals. Their strategy is geared more towards keeping the numbers down than actually protecting people, and not exposing how poor the NHS is after years of neglect..

Terry

I suspect only a truly nasty evil person would "suggest that Italy might have something stronger sent their way" , unless of course they bothered to explain what they mean in clear language & provide some evidence to back it up.

Do you mean the Covid19 virus is likely to kill more people in Italy in the comming days or do you mean something totally different to Covid19?

Terry you never bothered to provide any evidence to your pharmaceutical "quote ". I think it must be because it was another sick lie? Terry is your aim in life to hurt people? If the gullible follow your posts you are putting their lives in danger Terry. Is that how you get your kicks?

Come on Terry about time you explain where your "quote " came from - you still haven't provided a link.

International Journal for Infectious Diseases. ITALY.

In the winter seasons from 2013/14 to 2016/17

More than 68,000 deaths attributable to flu epidemics were estimated in the study period.

Italy showed a higher influenza attributable excess mortality compared to other European countries. especially in the elderly.

We estimated excess deaths of 7,027, 20,259, 15,801 and 24,981 attributable to influenza epidemics in the 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17, respectively, using the Goldstein index.

In recent years, Italy has been registering peaks in death rates, particularly among the elderly during the winter season. A mortality rate of 10.7 per 1,000 inhabitants was observed in the winter season 2014/2015 (more than 375,000 deaths in absolute terms), corresponding to an estimated 54,000 excess deaths (+9.1%) as compared to 2014 (Signorelli and Odone, 2016), representing the highest reported mortality rate since the Second World War in Italy (UN, 2019).

Certainly sheds some light on Italy. Fascinating study if you have time read it all. Children under 5 in Italy fare quite badly.

Wasn't the modelling from Imperial suggestion....

20k deaths if basically stop social contact (I.e. As we have now pubs/schools etc)
250k deaths if had carried on as we were a couple of weeks ago (2 week self isolation if I'll or had contact with ill person)
500k deaths if basically just carried on as normal.

Hence why 20k deaths is a "good outcome ".  Think they were the figures.

An Italian virologist says that the country’s attempt not to appear “racist” in the early says of the coronavirus outbreak crippled the ability to properly respond to the pandemic.

Professor of Virology and Microbiology at the University of Padova Dr. Giorgio Palù told CNN that measures imposing travel restrictions and border controls were taken too late due to fears over political correctness.

“There was a proposal to isolate people coming from the epicenter, coming from China,” Palù told CNN. “Then it became seen as racist, but they were people coming from the outbreak.”

Italy is now the hardest hit country in the world in terms of coronavirus deaths, with 3,405 people losing their lives.

The need to minimize potential “racism” and “stigmatization” in response to the coronavirus was a policy endorsed by the World Health Organization itself on numerous occasions and adopted by the left-wing Italian government.

As we previously highlighted, the Mayor of Florence launched a nationwide campaign at the start of February encouraging Italians to hug Chinese people on the street to “stem the hatred.”

Footage of the stunt even shows Italians physically removing a Chinese man’s face mask while closely embracing him.

The Mayor even released a Twitter video of himself hugging an awkward-looking Chinese person to promote the campaign, which was launched to “express solidarity with the Chinese community.”

Now Italian hospitals in some areas are completely overwhelmed and the entire country is on lockdown.

This once again underscores how political correctness, which leftists often define as “just being nice to people,” can often have deadly consequences.

Just because it's not on the news doesn't mean it isn't happening
I follow a few Indian crickers/comms on twitter and there is real worry there that it is at stage 3
Listening on the radio about villages in SA where it's starting to break out
There are no tests in these places so when people die from respiratory illnesses it's not a huge shock (as it's mainly older people anyway)
It's not like ebola which was hemorrhagic and visually startling.

Loads of people are dying with this all over the world and the death certs just say lung infection or pneumonia.

Only one death where I live attributed to COV on a death cert but it's really hundreds or thousands.
