Five of the Poole cases are council office workers and are confirmed positive .

That was the message . Sounds as if they were tested .

getting a bit sick myself of city types, middleclass journo,s etc banging on about working from home
when will the resentment start between those who can carry on working, working from home and those either laid off or unable to do their job,
I,m sure those laid off at virgin for 8 weeks with no pay don't want to hear about those doing well working from home,.
not much work to go for but hard to believe [ I no it is ] that companies can lay people off with pay not pay nthem off and they still retain them as employees for when they want/need them, think back to when multi million pound fooitballers called themselves slaves

4/858k 2 days ago in West Sussex.

It’s now leapt to 7/858k....

2 cases are  in my local hospital. Thankfully it’s not spreading there. In fact We’ve yet to hear of multiple cases in one hospital or care home. Is it being contained?

It said it took a study from Imperial to understand the likely burden of COVID-19 on the NHS. But read the first paper we published on COVID-19 on Jan 24. 32% admitted to ITU with 15% mortality. We have wasted 7 weeks.ShockedShocked This crisis was entirely preventable.ShockedShocked

This is just more odd by the day.

BBC headline - 200k worldwide cases. WRONG. They have no idea, Could be 10 times that number, meaning the death rate is very low.

‘People dead because of Coronavirus’. WRONG. It’s Covid-19, a specific Coronavirus. Coronaviruses are quite common. Also wrong that the virus is solely responsible for deaths. It triggers death in already (predominantly) old and sick people. It no doubt causes pneumonia which is the cause of death in many cases.

Flu and other respiratory problems trigger bigger health issues. They can be the precursor to death, not the actual cause.

It’s hard to work out the truth from the fiction. And now the cricket season is cancelled. Why?!
