That's because they have gone from a warm temp to a sudden damp/cold one
You get colds from the radiator heat, sit near a radiator for 2 hours and then go outside in the damp/cold air and you'll get a runny nose etc Sudden temp changes effect our bodies differently |

Hope you havn't done the roasters..

I will say sonto that this virus will simply bounce off most people ... but it's the few who are vulnerable ,some putting themselves at risk .
saw some old dears on the bus yesterday ..what are they thinking ? for them this will be a Chernoybyl type situation if people aren't careful |
By:
We breath in the particles the radiators give off
And then a sudden temp change messes around with our balance Bodies react to big changes in temp, that's why you don't run a cold shower when you have a fever and burning up ffs, you stay in one room with the temp remaining what its set at |
By:
Sontan .it's not really that cold here though ...
By:
Its damp though and that gets on our chest

Why do you think they've pulled this stunt off in flu season?
By May they are saying it will have peaked and then return in the fall Because that's what viruses do I guess, they pack up for the summer ![]() ![]() |

the shortness of breath reported to me i find a little strange .... we will see ...i have advised them all to call 111 and keep kids off school and isolate or restrict movements
By:
I keep hearing this but I always thought frost, cold etc killed off bugs etc in farms etc
By:
Sontaran, I must admit I am simply bewildered at what you believe.
By:
usually but rarely gets cold enough now in England so certain things will thrive
By:
Shortness of breath I've had all through winter because of constantly getting a blocked nose
Struggle to breath properly when the nasal passage is buggered 1TP it does if it doesn't attach itself to a human host, our body temps keep it alive and then our immune system goes to work, the fever is our immune system attacking the bug/virus whatever it is that's invaded |
By:
Sonts , you have a reason then ...but unexplained shortness ?
By:
Our first line of defence is our nose hair trapping it, if people pluck their nose it makes it through and into our throat, thus causing the caugh as we try to dispel it out the mouth
Then if it get further down our immune system is triggered and off it goes into action Ashtma coach? if you've got asthma you'll suffer worse shortness of breath with the nose only being half clogged |
By:
Fascinating thing the body, it can kill anything and fight anything and that includes cancer cells as well
By:
^ oh dear.
By:
listening to evidence, story,s of people who,ve had it here and other country,s and recovered think government ,experts might regret leading people up the garden path regards getting mild flu like symptons, evidence suggests there much worse so people will be scared and fill the dr,s,hospital,s etc worried they've got it bad
By:
The fever is the best feeling you can have, it means the body is onto it
As long as it doesn't get to dangerous temps |
By:
Getting ill is good, keeps the immune system on its toes and keeps you strong
By:
naddine dorris has worked in health service, lady dr on last night head of various departments were both shocked at how powerful virusvwas, transpose that onto 10,s 1000,s been told to expect very mild or no symptons at all, recipe for carnage, imo
By:
Up to 35 now
See how its only going up in a really controlled manner My guess is it'll stop at around 1000/2000, that's a nice number for them to then be able to pass off as legit, if it gets to high they might have to present evidence of such number but then again maybe not 1TP expect no symptoms or only one or two and then it passes We are almost out of flu season, and it coincides with their "peak" duration as well... ![]() ![]() |

Very hard to get figures apart from regional ones. I have no idea how many there are in Somerset but I have not heard of any.
By:
You wont get many sage
I'm off to my local hospital tomorrow to see if there's anything going off, I'll talk to some of the doctors whilst I'm there |

In austria
Really amazed how effective they are, outside of shops are portable wash basins with staff next to it, if you don't wash your hands you don't gain entrance, old people get food delivered, hotlines and if C19 is suspected medical staff will come to them for a swab.. |

Brother's ex-wife's mother has died today (in last hour or so) in Derbyshire from the virus. Apparently her son (brother's daughter's husband had recently got back from Italy.
By:
massive spike of cases in last 24 hrs 1600 to 2300

in switzerland
By:
My brother's daughter has also been diagnosed with the virus. Not sure what happens now as she has two kids.
By:
From what I can gather my brother's daughter and her husband are separated and have not come into contact with each other. The common link seems to be they both visited her or his mother in hospital (details a bit sketchy so can't be definitive).

^ which is why the high death rates at first can skew the figures, as in Italy

By:
leaked secret government papers show their expecting 8 million people to be hospitalised with virus alone
By:
"people who don't show symptoms or have it could be spreading it" BINGO!!!!!!
That's how they are going to flog it are they "leaked papers" oh those again ![]() |

Poole in Dorset has several cases and in Lincolnshire there is one in Sutton Bridge . It seems that the case in Sutton Bridge has been isolated but not tested .
By:
You would really need to know how many have been tested in each area
