It is proven that the elders on the planet care more and don't damage the planet anywhere near the young privileged bstards who pretend to care as they buy all their electronics from china, uber, Airbnb and fly around the world at 1/10 of the cost of the generation before them. They love a meal where we use most of our own produce, its an enjoyable thing to do. |

I don't believe there has been much research into which generation has consumed CO2. You mentioned some aspects where the younger generation use more than the baby boomers but there are aspects the other way round. Cars are more efficient now, we use less coal in UK , lights are led , more veggies in young generation. I never claimed the young were better than the old. Moon said he didn't know "what all the fuss was about " . I explained some aspects of "the fuss" |

Ummmmmmmm so we collect loads & loads of data readings from across the planet over many decades. So if "maths & stars" isn't the answer maybe you cold explain how we use that data. Have a football game - next goal wins. Maybe statistics cold provide an insight into the data collected? |

There is a problem because people are concerned that sea level may rise & people will need to move from floods, there is concern that hotter summer temps might cause health problems etc. I'm not sure how reassured the young generation will be by the school failures pointing out that temps were warmer 40,000 years ago. Not sure that would actually prevent flooding, fires? Storms? Worth a try though. Just say nothing we haven't seen before, it happened thousands of years ago so stop moaning. |

Petrol/diesel cars are more efficient than before, Battery powered cars are less efficient than petrol/diesel from production to disposal. Purchasing a phone from china that is powered by coal is not green. Been proven/ or the debate is out that vegan food is more land intensive than standard farming. Don't get me started on palm oil. |

I don't know what your point is. You have just plucked this number 20 out the air made an example on a totally different situation & then tried to link to climate change. Are you saying we should spend more money gathering data in the future, more satellites, more thermometers, more scientists so our data set is more robust going forward. Or are you saying we need to invent a time machine and get tge Victorians to put a few satellites into space? The scientists/ statisticians haven't claimed to have "proven " that humans have caused temperature rises over past 100 years. There is always a heated debate about the language used in UN publications . Should we not change our ways until we have another 1000 years of decent data - you want a bigger base size (even though your statistics knowledge is Farr less than the people publishing these claims ) so in which year will be have a good base size? 2050? 2100? 2200? |

Really don't know what your point is by mentioning there is snow in Somerset in November. Is that in some way supposed to mean that temperature across the planet are not rising????. What is your point. Also on chit chat - there is a post and photos about New South Wales. - some of the photos are interesting. I'm off skiing next year in the Alps - I expect snow, does that mean tge planet isn't getting warmer??? What does global mean? |

40 years we nearly ran out of polar bears - so they made it their lead poster 'boy' for their 'we are all doomed' campaign. The foxe's glacier mint pose teetering on a sliver of ice. Population at critical level etc.
They actually didn't have a clue what the real population was. They are very hard to track - the bears are loners. Some locals said they were down to a few hundred as they never saw them that much. Again, guessing, the warmists spouted their 'science' to prove there were few and in trouble. Don't know what you think 'few' is but the rough figures presented since then show and increase from 18,000 to current estimates to be 39,000. Then guess what? Now the Mirror has a bit spread on the elimination of polar bears by ..... etc They are going completely the opposite way to what has happened to the bear poplulation. But people are an easy target for raising money for the charities and the salaries of all these animal funds ho ho So despite not being eliminated om 40 years they are now going to die off in another 50 years or something hohohohohhohhoohoohoho A great money making scam |

small corn growers in Guatemala starving due to lack of water for yields immense flooding south England record temps and sustained heatwaves throughout Europe rising sea levels declining populations of most plants birds animals insects worldwide half the carbon already burned that will speed temp increases venice flooding this is just from the last few months all items forming a bigger picture maybe im not a scientist and couldn't say either way if climate change is a threat all I know is the wise thing to do would be take note , and act why take the chance I just know there are many events changes over last 20/30 years |

So what if droughts "are an inevitable part of natural climate cycles" Are you trying to use the fact that there are droughts to "prove " that climate change has nothing to do with the changing chemical composition of the atmosphere??? Is it possible/very likely that if there was "unnatural climate changes" there would also be droughts? Nowhere in your misleading post does it claim "droughts are ONLY produced by natural climate cycles " So what is the point of your post? Just to mislead? |

What is your point about the Earth being 4.5 billion years yet decent temp readings "only" 120 years. The age of the planet is ilrelevant. Are you saying we should do whatever we want for the next billion years until we have more data? Without a time machine how can we get satellite readings from 500 years ago? |

I and pretty much every climate scientist are aware that the planet has a variety of different climates- mainly based on location - I.e. Distance from Equator, distance from Ocean, local wind, currents etc. Who cares if you have been on holiday abroad in your life. Hardly unusual & not really relevant. |
