All you're doing is confirming my OP:
There seems to be no end of loonies on here denying climate change. Unfortunately, as yet I haven't seen any evidence forthcoming from them as to why it's not true. There are plenty strawman arguments and glib remarks such as carbon dioxide is good for plants, the population of polar bears is increasing, the police are too soft on demonstrators, records only go back 40 years, ice has been crashing into the sea for hundreds of years, it's a stealth tax, I can't see any change in my back garden and of course lots of comments about Greta. But no evidence. So climate change deniers please post some evidence along with their sources to support your argument. |

You see , Charley and his back up men, the likes of mexico and others, have a very long history of getting on the wrong end of practically everything they spout nonsense about. I look out on to my garden and then my river and see little change year by year just on an article about how holland copes with global warming but apart from a shortage of Hay they seem ok YOU do know they should be underwater don't you? Anyway the article bangs on about problems around the world to frighten everyone before addressing the mild situation in holland. In other words no major problems. Just because you don't understand maths & science you can hardly expect those who understand numbers to use statistics & science. Where is the evidence that man is responsible for the supposed climate change ? And please dont use the numbers, Much of the evidence is data. Temperature readings (using thermometers rather than Polar bears) are taken from thousands of locations every day & have been for decades. Now because you failed maths you don't want scientists to use this data. John - if you are interested in the subject then just study some basic maths - even just an A level will give you the basics & plenty of places teach maths to that level- could even teach yourself if you prefer. If you don't like data would you prefer to read papers on the effects of radiation on various molecules & how that can produce the "greenhouse effect " ? The theory that CO2 can keep the planet warmer (radiation does not escape into space) is not new science- it is over a century old. |

It is the quote from Gore you were asked for. You posted a claim (almost certainly another lie) that Gore claimed bear population was a few hundred. You failed to provide a link. Are you telling lies Moisok or did he say that? |

I always laugh at the predictions that charles and mex and the global scarers are all about - prediction predictions and more predictions (of dire consequences) yet they fall flat on their faces

I didn't make that prediction about the weather this winter-you have once again failed to provide a link to the source. It has very little to do with Global warming as is a prediction of next few weeks in one small part of the planet. It is not global & predictions for a few weeks time is not climate change. The climate changes very little over 1 year. It is over a decade or so that the changes can be observed. I.e. The concern is climate will warm by about 1C over next 40-50 years. You don't seem to understand the basic points of the theory you are posting garbage about. |
