I was told they were about to be wiped out (well several decades ago I was told - scientists, wildlife lovers/organisations, and locals said they were down to a few hundred.
Now they tell me its over 35,000.
But still the global warming inquisition do not want to talk about them anymore
Why is that. Shirley they are important to judge how its going?

The oddest thing is I still haven't seen one - but we have had two dead whales in landan this week.
Do you think the bears had anything to do with it?

The point is that science won out in the end regardless of whatever else was going on. It won out because of the evidence. That is the way science progresses. The evidence today says that climate warming is happening. You can bury your head in the sand and say it's not but where is your evidence that it's not.

Believe it or not that is what climate scientists do. Not just some random posts on chit-chat but actually going out into the word and recording what they see. They then report on what they see.

Last Glacial Period, from wiki.
