England's 3rd World Cup final. Tries scored? Zero. Tbf, the two they conceded today are the only ones they've given up. Still, Swing Low Sweet Chariot sounded good.
Who said rugby union was boring? |

FT: England 12-32 South Africa
It isn't to be for Eddie Jones' men. They've had a fine tournament but at the last, they were asked question they simply couldn't answer. |
|
By:
Wales (5/2 underdogs) at least gave SA a game. England (heavy fav) got hammered.

A not unreasonable expectation by them imo. |

Question to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi: “When you were a young boy, did you ever think,
in your wildest dreams, about a day like today?” Kolisi: “No. When I was a kid, all I was thinking about was getting my next meal.” |
|
By:
Sick of hearing the black player count on the SA side, or the first black captain.
When will they start saying never has there been an albino transgender captain? |
|
By:
Kolisis response was great it has to be said
No doubt the media will spin that comment to mean how awful oppression was though You can predict what type of s*** they are going to come out with can't you |
|
By:
I don't know his background but he said it off the cuff. Sport has lifted a
lot of people from poverty but rugby was the preserve of white apartheid SA for many years. The unfortunate Kyle Sinclair also has his own interesting route into a game that hasn't always been very inclusive in certain areas. |

By:
Kolisi was awarded a scholarship to a prestigous school at 12 ,so that may or not have taken him out of poverty ... he was asked as a young lad though so he was probably not joking .
good luck to the bloke |
