just the evidence of things past, not the future wild imaginings of remainers
look around |
|
By:
compare and contrast, I can assure you we have not progressed , quite the opposite if we look from any standpoint including economically with jobs houses wages infrastructure whatever
open your eyes |

Can't quite agree there, crystalhunt. Yes, immigration and freedom of movement are big on the agenda, but our economic performance,
freedom to trade with the rest of the World without having to go through the EU is a huge part of the plan. I don't come across many, if any, leave voters (like myself) who want to leave with a deal. I want out..adios, au revoir...gone. |
|
By:
I don't think remainers understand quite what a mess Britain, and indeed Europe is in Now
|
|
By:
Take a little look at that and you might begin to understand why people voted to leave

Compare 1979 to 2019.
Just about every indicator on economics and living standards have improved. Ou economy has grown massively since 1979. Advances in medicine, life expectancy, new technology, Peados are not given free rain to prey on the young anymore. Etc, etc etc What cocooned bizarre world do you live in? |

Do the `anti immigration' people not understand that we have almost full employment in this country, more jobs than ever before.
We will need to massively increase immigration from commonwealth countries if we restict europeans from working here. The NHS will completely fall apart otherwise. Also what is it about immigration is a net economic beneficiary to the UK and alway has been do the little englanders not grasp? |

Is that all down to us being in the EU Captain C?

Jucel69 please show me that post is unhinged, that post is just straight facts followed by a copy and paste of a report of what the Conservatives plan to do.

Also the concept of remainers realising the game is up is not true at all. The remainers will win in the end regardless. They have the numbers and that Brexit will be a disaster on their side.
|

Unbelievable the delusions that carnage and remainers are living under
The economy can grow ( depending on how it is measured ) And people are poorer , less job security , higher cost of housing , lower wages , etc If you don’t understand that about economic ‘ griwrth’ you understand nothing |

No John - not at all.
There are always issues/problems with any system of governance. We are very lucky to live in a thriving capitalist, progressive (until Brexit) parliamentary democracy. With 99% confidence the generation after us will have life even better then us and the ones after them better than the ones before. It is the most basic of all economic matters. Surely enough for 9 year olds to understand. Around 50% of our export/imports are with the EU. Frictionless trade between EU countries and the ability to cut trade deals with the rest of the world as part of the biggest trading bloc has massive economic advantages. To put barriers to trade with our closest markets and have to negotiate trade deals with the rest of the world from a position of wekness and isolation is simply gross stupidity. |

How have we financed the NHS over the last 40 years ?
I can assure you it’s not through immigration , it’s been North sea oil money And reckless borrowing It can’t continue |
|
By:
there are trade barriers between Japan and the rest of the world carnage
We will do the same as them , thanks |
|
By:
The childish belief and faith that people like carnage have in the EU is remarkable really
|
|
By:
Wp. Trade wars/barriers to trade have never worked to the benefit of anyone over the mid-long term since capitalism
existed. |
|
By:
Then why are the EU involved in trade wars , and why do they have tariffs ?
|
|
By:
That I can assure you is a question that will remain nicely unanswered , by capt carnage
|
|
By:
All trading blocs have certain tariffs but the worlds economy continues to grow every year as it has for many decades because they are kept to a minimum.
|
|
By:
When you increase them growth slows long term for all concerned.
|
|
By:
If basic economics was taught to kids in the 50/60/70/80's we wouldnt be in this mess.
Instead they thought we should need to know about physics and the tundra. |
|
By:
That wasn’t the question carnage here it is again
If trade wars and tariffs are a bad thing then why are the EU involved in trade wars and why does it have tariffs ? Try again ... |
|
By:
How much of British tax payer money goes to the EU? To subsidise broke ass countries and millionaire bureaucrats.
There's a whole world out there to trade with. |

Would you join it now?
They are printing money by the billions to prop the eurozone up. |
|
By:
VAT. How about that
and in addition we paid extra billions into their coffers so it is not just our usual yearly contribution we did that again this year because we are doing so well and Cameron paid another slab a few years back |
|
By:
Have we left yet ?
