SNP & Plaid are the only Social Dems left in the room. They own the centre.
By:
The "democrats" also think you should ignore the parliamentary majority to implement what your minority want

Green idiot just said voting Green was the clearest remain vote signal there could be, then IMMEDIATELY said they aren't a single issue party and it was a vote for the environment etc, completely contradicting the idea a Green vote is a clear remain vote.. Do these idiots even listen to themselves?

MM Chart wrong with Plaid too

the green woman added green libs and change v brexit party
ermmmm ukip excluded? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
By:
What she is referring to is generally remainers are more likely to be more than single issue voters.
By:
Lets have another ref, lets win it by more and then watch them really squirm and apply more idiotic logic
![]() |
By:
so is UKIP, irrelevant as they are and all that, not a clear leave vote?
By:
If you didn't look at the results and just listened to the TV analysts you would think the Lib Dems won a landslide with the Greens a respectable 2nd.

Curtice says it is a draw

Its happening on all remain forums
They are declaring victory because brexit got less votes than the other parties combined ![]() ![]() Very sad and pitiful ![]() They truly are clutching at something, can't think what at the moment but |

Clutching at the truth.

By:
This will go on for years sadly
They will just keep moving the goal posts |
By:
So no one's going to do any math to prove that leave is ahead?
By:
Just parrots.
By:
Just parrots.
By:
leave isnt ahead so they cant
By:
Depends what next PM does. They will likely have 3 choices (actually 4 but 1 is lesser).
Attempt to leave with no deal which is the road to oblivion for them and will lead to revocation. A GE A ref The other somewhat runner is a theory that Boris somehow comes out and sells May's deals as totally different now he's running it, it would be a con, but maybe Brexiteers would go for it, but based on what we've seen so far it would be an extremely tough sell. |
By:
Problem is leavers are basically pushing towards option 1 which is political suicide.

Mouse Muldoon
How the hell can you math that? It wasn't Brexit Vs Remain was it? it was a EU election with all the parties involved ffs Not everyone voting for Labour will have done so as a remain vote, you can't possibly know the true number |
By:
As stated, an estimate of leave v remain. The election in itself don't mean sh!t as the seats are only temporary.
By:
let's give them 50% each, and the same for the Tories
that's being fair ![]() |

Europe Elects
@EuropeElects 7m7 minutes ago More UK: 85% counted. Remain parties: 40.4% Hard Brexit parties: 34.9% Conservatives/Labour: 23.2% |

I still sat here with mouth open at some of the stuff I've read and listened to
I knew about spin but this is something else altogether |

Hannan bottling backing Raab or Boris

unfortunaley mouse you cannot break down the green or lib into what % is remain or leave, or even the labour/tory vote as they are multi isuue parties with their core voters.
the only true vote on brexit has been done. By the way the result wasa to leave. the brexit party formed in a few weeks romped home. the only true party on a single remain issue was change. So lets analyse their vote, and it wasnt very good. |
By:
let's give them 50% each, and the same for the Tories
No, as many of the Con/Lab leavers will have voted Brex |
By:
By:
You can't prove it either way.
Labour and Tories had a nightmare but got over 20% between them. Ostensibly they are both Leave parties. Now remainers will say that typical Labour and Tory voters would have gone with Farage if they were that animated about Brexit, but you can flip that and ask why they didn't vote Lib Dem if they are that enthused by Remain. So there is no way to allocate those 20%+ to either side. |
By:
I said it was a guess, but no one else is prepared to have a go.
By:
you can't break the green or lib dem vote into remain/leave, but they were far less popular in recent elections where Brexit mattered less. how can we figure out why the reason for their surge is!?
By:
Because remainers are more likely to vote on a variety of issues as generally better educated will consider a wider issues when voting than just blind voting a party with 1 policy and no substance. Change were just a bad vote, I dunno how they even got the votes they did.
By:
You can't say the SNP are solid remain, that's just wrong, if memory serves me right almost 40% of SNP supporters voted Leave, and they'll vote SNP at any election to try and get Independence anyway, votes like this are a unique win/win for them.
