Crisp - The best quote I heard today (apart from that one by aaronh above) was the girl who said she was there protesting "because she felt sorry for Polar Bears"

Do these kids not realise the Polar Bears aren't even vegan, and tear cute seals apart and drink their blood, then fart out greenhouse gases?
They want edumicated, let's edumicate them! |
By:
Maybe they should try positioning themselves and their placards between a Polar Bear and a Seal and see at which point their opinion alters
![]() |
By:
They'd get plenty of revolution in a polar bears gut.
By:
Polar Bears are predators they cannot help what they are.
So are Human Beings we also eat meat |
By:
Humans also kill seals….not for their meat but their fur...which makes us worse than Polar Bears
A: Not all species of seals are endangered, but for the many species that are endangered, there are a number of different causes, including hunting, climate change and natural disasters. |

Children propagandised by Guardian reading teachers, they will stoop to any level.
By:
I think it's admirable that the kids are protesting as it shows they have some interest in what's going on in the world. It has to be tempered with what they're being told and by whom.
Sounds like people would rather have kids carrying knives and killing each other. |
By:
They are being taught one side of the argument on climate change, propaganda.
By:
possibly saddo, although we do not know for certain?
but at least it is something constructive |
By:
good post from Charlie
By:
It is certainly constructive for those who collect billions in 'green' taxes.
By:
They're children they'll do anything for a day off
By:
UBLE, Charlies post was good until the last sentence, which was a bit silly.
By:
ok
By:
ok
By:
I wonder how many of those kids, ride or walk to & from school everyday?
By:
Too dangerous for the cotton wool kids generation
By:
I put the last sentence in deliberately as a contrast. Most of the posts on this thread were/are negative slagging off the kids.
By:
As in the kids protesting over climate change have been as far as I can see well behaved and quite articulate (may have been scripted but at least they remembered the script). If this is what posters are complaining about then I don't get it.
Knife crime yes let's complain over that. Maybe the kids would do that? |
By:
Knife crime is worth protesting about. That would be admirable.
CM? Locally yes. Internationally, no. 71% of Earth is water. Then there's desert, forests and err, Australia (90% uninhabitable). People aren't THAT influential on the climate. But if you're a kid at school you'll believe the lies the teachers spout. |
By:
My primary complaint is seeing primary school kids waving Socialist Worker/Socialist Party/Pro Corbyn/Anti Tory banners and apparently also being handed out socialist propaganda leaflets by the people handing out the banners. The Green party are bad enough as they are left wing extremists on a good day, never mind the explicit hard left having a go at indoctrinating children. IT's sickening.

heard 7 year olds shout fcuk may
kinda cute ![]() |

What does THAT influential mean? Why aren't people that influential on climate change? JC primary school kids waving Socialist Worker/Socialist Party/Pro Corbyn/Anti Tory banners and apparently also being handed out socialist propaganda leaflets by the people handing out the banners. I have no knowledge either way of that but doubt it was primary school children. |

By:
No children should be propagandised with the politics of their teachers, whatever age.
By:
So you're saying that we are all lobsters?
By:
I have no idea what that means JC. |

what did that head teacher say

In the infamous Cathy Newman vs Jordan Peterson interview, he sits there saying something calm and sensible, and Cathy Newman would take it and stretch it and extend it to the most ridiculous degree, obviously NOT what he meant at all, in attempt at ridiculing his argument, and she'd prefix it with "so you're saying.. "
One of them was to do with lobsters, as he talked a bit about how the social and hierarchy part of the human brain is so old and so general, it goes back to animals as primitive as lobsters. It was so bad it generated a huge pile of memes, some here: https://medium.com/@stianchrister/24-memes-that-sum-up-jordan-peterson-vs-cathy-newman-7c7b9229f2f |

I can understand that. I still can't make your point to my post though. A simple explanation would help. |
By:
Nothing more to see than a bunch of spoilt brats skiving off school for the day.
By:
I said the pupils (primary) were being indoctrinated with left wing views (which they blatantly were).
You quibled the actual age. Saddo said :"No children should be propagandised with the politics of their teachers, whatever age." You said, quoting the above: "So are you saying that climate change isn't happening?". I rest my case. Your logic and flow of argument was cathy newman like. In fact so bad, next thing you know you'll be saying climate change is deliberately caused by space lizard semites who caused 9/11! ![]() ![]() |
By:
Climate Change locally - absolutely yes.
On an international level where only 29% of the world is land and far less is industrialised? Not for me. |

Climate Change Denial is now second only to Holocaust Denial

I find it sad that teachers are abusing their position, kids only know what they are taught by teachers at their young age.
It is a form of abuse imo, certainly of their position if not the children. |
