It's heartening to see virtue signalling is being indoctrinated at such an early age.
There should be junior twitter for sub 11 year old angry righteous twitter mobs, who are "triggered" by politically correct spongebob episodes.

It amuses me when Western governments are urged to 'do something about climate change' whilst China et al happily pump immense quantities of CO2 into the atmosphere.  If the European CO2 output went to zero it would have little effect.  These kids who wish to bunk off school should be knocked back into shape and sent back to the classroom.

My niece is protesting today and I couldn't be more proud of her.

Getting involved and hands on, getting to grips with issues and kicking the ar$e of old-timers like her uncle.

At virtually every "left friendly" demos I've been on (and I've been on a few) socialist worker who seem to have a bottomless bank for fundng this, have handed out piles of bannners on sticks, with "socialist worker" across the top.

Sad to see these far left extremist scum are giving them out to schoolkids. Not pleasing to see a load of kids carrying banners of communist lunatics.

Adults on the demos I've been to, if they are ok with the slogan but not the provider, normally rip the top bit (that says Socialist Worker) off.

"System Change Not Climate Change" "One Solution REvolution" "Socialist Worker".
Pro Corbyn / Tories Out Banners.

Do we really think it's good to see impressionable kids waving this crap?

It's not just socialist worker, there are also "Socalist Party" banners that've been handed out by leftist extremists.
Disgusting. If the far right tried to indoctrinate children and hand out banners I'm sure there would be outrage.

It is good to see getting involved at this age, but they tend to believe what they are steered towards

It is only when they get older that they will discover what a lying lot we humans really are.

We had global warming back in the 90's but it has steadied since then.

The ice is melting though, the poor old polar bears are suffering, so countries may well find themselves

below sea level later this century, not us as yet.

China ignore any warnings on emissions but do risk poisoning their own population if their air gets much worse,

it is not good.

Brings back memories . We also used to play truant , the difference being that we didn't attempt to dress it up as some form of political protest .
These kids , most of whom appear to identify as female' , will be chaining themselves to the railings outside parliament and throwing themselves under racehorses next in order to gain the vote .

I was listening to LBC earlier when they went to a reporter who proceeded to 'interview' the protesters . It was quite clear that their answers were scripted and I even detected an adult in the background prompting one of them . This is clearly staged , biased reporting and certainly not in any way responsible or ethical journalism . Worse was to come when they returned to the studio where the incumbent presenter was fawning in admiration at the "brilliant young minds" outside parliament .
Shocked

Can the far left not just start "strength through joy" camps for their new intake of impressionable minds?

I'm now hearing that parents e-mailed schools to ask for permission on behalf of their offspring . Hardly a 'strike' if agreements are in place .
I remember having to jump through hoops a few years back when requesting our son finish his school term 2 days early due to holiday flight arrangements . Maybe we should have told them that we were taking him to participate in the Poll Tax riots or going to Afghanistan to join the Taliban Crazy
