She won the vote of no confidence (December) to remain as PM after giving assurances she would not be standing as leader at the next GE

Whether she goes after this vote is another matter.

Liddington, Jermay Hunt like May, Cameron etc would be seen as 'a safe pair of hands'; a technocrat i.e someone without any vision or flair or devilment about them

Unfortunately (for them), Corbyn has a vison that appeals to many in our nation. Never mind this vision does not bear scrutiny, Never mind that it's (intellectually) rizla-thin. Never mind his and his putative front-bench questionable past. They're schtik is, basically, 'We're not the Tories' just like Blair when he won his first election.

That's enough, all the while it's one man one vote, first past the post and 'Oooooh Jeremy Corbyn' is the height of political understanding (ironically of course, in that 'A Seven Nation Army' would be the last thing Corbyn would be associated with)

just to add; Twitter is finally calling her the names i've associated her with for over two years.

If its beaten she can't carry on with it?

I did say she would carry on in regards to being PM though, no defeat is going to cramp her style

So even a majority defeat of 350+ wouldn't even budge her?

Its like a tennis player losing 6-0 6-0 6-0 every match, being totally useless at the game but coming out with the cliche "there's positives to every loss"

Absolutely bonkers

......and we're supposed to be impressed with her doggedness?

FFS she's nothing more than an Appendix!

- it appears to do absolutely nothing. Yet when things go awry, it can very quickly go from grumbles to acute discomfort to terminal in a very rapid progression. Once the downhill journey is begun, the only answer is to whip it out, pdq.

That, seems to be to describe perfectly and accurately what this woman brings to the party

She's lost with this vote, what makes her think she's the right person to lead more negotiations?

If they don't get rid soon she's going to give us the plague ffs

I went to London today. Saw the PM get in her car outside No. 10.

Headed off down to Westminster - protestors on both sides making a racket. Especially the Leavers with their Liberty Bell Laugh Bet you can hear it on all the broadcasts from College Green.

Never seen so many EU flags. Quite why people of one country want to fly the flag of another is beyond me.

Might get lively later on I guess.

150 will be a victory for her and that means 2 more years of her

Really is perplexing what an upside down world we live in at the moment, when nothing less than an absolute hammering (in this case a 360+) is any good.

Crazy

At this point she's totally toxic, injera. She's stunk the place out over the past couple of years, well and truly outstayed her welcome.

An un-elected PM who just wont leave despite being hated on all sides and is totally useless.

You've said who you don't want. Who replaces her?

I'm no fan, but who's the answer? Virtually impossible to get any deal through this abhorrent Parliament.

Not that I care a tuppeny stuff about the Tories but surely they've got to go for someone young, with a vision true to conservative core values (i.e not trying to pitch their tent on labour's lawn but providing a genuine alternative).

Tom Tugendhat maybe?

i've posted my thoughts enough, Injera. There's one on here somewhere. The sooner she is convalescing in Sussex the better. As far as being careful what/who i wish for; there is no way on this planet earth that i'd wish to see one more day of that woman in charge of my country. She will go down in history as a despotic miniscule quuisling; and rightly so

Moggy would be my choice. Think he's got his hands full at home with his 6 kids Grin

Besides, with Gina Miller doing her stuff, no PM can get a Brexit vote through. Parliament has taken over the decision. They delegated it to us and Miller's made sure Parliament takes it back.

why the laziness? Just scroll back a few pages and you'll see my thoughts; it obviously concerns you so just have a little look. I have said many times on here that i wouldn't vote, or want any of the house as PM. The best i can hope for is an interim Brexit monster gets it for now & then the candidates (as such) can start to dance
