That was one joke he made which was in common parlance when we were young..... The best place to see racism, read some of the threads on here! He hit is wife, well I cannot defend that. But women do not always tell the truth just my own opinion. He clearly has mental issues which may have influenced this, but I will not defend it The problem is the mental issues have not enabled him to cope with his fame or wealth. I think he has been used a lot. As for this case the only details I hve heard so far is he comforted and kissed a women on the cheek on a train after someone called her a fat cow, not really a sexual assault in my opinion, but we must wait for the case. None of this detracts from his talent as a footballer, and I have some empathy for his mental problems I beleive people are a sum of their parts, we make our own judgements. |

superjudge scandanavian_haven doesn't get that Bernard Manning told jokes about everybody and didn't favour any race/religion in fact most of his jokes were the worn out war jokes about the Italians and Japanese.
