The Judge should throw the book at her purely for bringing one of the most ludicrous "defences" ever to be heard in a court.
She's got a bright future back in Nigeria though if it doesn't work out here. A seamless fit there. There also needs to be a full enquiry into why the first trial jury were unable to come to a decisive verdict. |

The chances of getting 'Guilty' verdicts even in open-and-shut cases in some parts of the country will grow more difficult with each each day. And then there is always the backstop of a Judge with the power not to punish, as in the case of the Croydon Zombie Knife Thug. |

There is absolutely no integrity in the woman; convicted of perverting the course of justice at the Old Bailey to avoid a speeding charge. Yet more concerned about her annual MP remuneration and perks. A total lack of understanding about what she'd done and its gravity. Shameful behaviour for a sitting MP. Hopefully, her constituents and the Labour Party will force her to resign or expel her.
