Studyform,
Thank you for your partly respectful response.
A couple of things.
It is outrageous to suggest that I want to see the same people making the same points.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
I hold great store by the old Japanese question ... when a finger points to a star, do you look at the star or the finger.
Secondly, Daily fricking Mail? Where on god’s earth do you extract that from on anything I have ever written?
However you are correct on one thing politics is better out of chitchat, as in a pub don’t talk religion or politics.

Finger pointing OP must be blind.

That's what you'd call a poppy that was present but didn't want to be involved.

I think the answer, RacingCert, to your Japanese question rather depends on whether or not you're a dog.

My apologies for grouping you with the unbending forum users your initial post seemed to make you appear like.
(A little scout round the forum WILL show the same people making the same points, A LOT - to prove my point).

Well done on a general dismissal of the Daily fricking Mail. Just Breitbart to denounce now Mischief

It might be nice for all those jumping on the "Corbyn... Grrrr" bandwagon to admit they were wrong!
Not a chance though. And THAT is what I pick up on. Yet still am able to reason.

It would be fine if he wasn’t a pacifist

In 1935 the Labour Party was led by George Lansbury and pledged never to take part in any war
This mattered because Hitler was listening

Seeing Brown and Blair there makes me wish for some pacifism...

Thank you Studyform.
Apology accepted. Such graciousness seems rare. Is it the first time anyone has ever apologised on here?
My best wishes to to you.
I hope you continue to strive to reason.
Even if you occasionally get things wrong.

I'm amazed that this thread is still going, as the OP got it so badly wrong!!. Why the OP could not be more respectful himself and wait 2 minutes and double check his assertion displays obsessive behaviour IMO.

I know I know, this post of mine is helping the thread to keep going. BTW, I thought his bow was particularly respectful, I am not a Corbyn fan, or threads based on a false premise.

must admit feel a little bit sorry for Corby over this , don’t mind really if he was a little bit scruffy , he probably thought he looked fine !
he did really . I’m a bit like that myself , even a new suit makes me feel uncomfortable

Some very disappointing post's yesterday, Remembrance Sunday and also the 100th Anniversary of the signing of the Amristice. Surely a time for reflection on those who gave their todays for our tomorrows.

Instead we get the same old tu rds posting absolute sheite. Some complaing about a coat with a hood and others about whether or not someone was wearing a poppy.

Shame on some of you and a pox upon your houses!

I suppose in any group of people there will always be the one who is the scruffiest.
In this case, amongst the thousands there, it was Jeremy Corbyn.

My comments were on the sartorial.
Politics is too tribal. I cannot associate myself with any group.
Let’s agree to differ.

The word Muslim should certainly not appear here, because as we always say, It's got nothing to do with Islam!

The proper protocol at an occasions such as these is to turn out in your Sunday best.

Anything less shows at the very least ignorance. And worse, that you're not showing proper respect for the occasion.

Take your pick which applies to Corbyn.

why has islam got nothing to do with this Dr slicer

I thought it was obvious - they seem to be largely absent from anything like thisWhoops
By:

Because, Mr OK, Islam has never got anything to do with anything even when it has! I hope this clarifies the matter.
