For a war film "Fury" is pretty good.

By the way prepared, I'm going to see Millwall against Villa on October 6th, my first ever visit to The Den! I'm going with my Sister in law and her mates who are all Millwall season ticket holders. I'll be cheering for Villa but will have to keep my gob shut if they win! Shocked

Notwithstanding there’s neither mystery nor war elements to it, Ted 2 is hard to beat.

If you can handle French,  Corps A Corps , starring Phillips Torreton . Avoid any reviews and you will get full value .

If French films are your thing and have got a strong constitution then "Baise Moi" is for you, also "Betty Blue" is brilliant but not a film for the faint hearted either.

Kajaki. British War film based on true incident in Afgan. Probably one of the best war films ever made.

Mystic River's a mystery/who done it type. Directed by Clint Eastwood and staring  Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Kevin Bacon and Laurence Fishburne. It got nominated for loads of Oscars but Penn won Best Actor and Robbins won Best Supporting , I would have had Robbins for best actor, don't have much time for Penn in general. If you like this then Prisoners starring  Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal is highly recommended as well.

If you are going to bring in series and "war films" then look no further than Band of Brothers.

Pees all over rubbish like Fury then sets light to it!

It was based on a true story with real characters and strived for realism.
Fury .. not so much. "Lets have a crack SS division attack a disabled tank that can't turn an inch, and they do a frontal attack with small arms rather than just walking up to the back and sticking a charge on or under it or using a panzerfaust to the side which even kids were carrying during the fall of Germany". The A team had more realstic battle scenes ;).
