I hope you didn’t view Glasgow with a prejudiced viewpoint , coming from Aberdeen
What was the difference ? |
By:
I think I mentioned that my father is a Weegie. I'm in Glasgow right now as it happens.
Glasgow have way more faith schools. There are Catholic primary schools in Aberdeen, although they are far more open to other faiths attending, but there are no Catholic secondary schoolsand and as far as I know no secondary schools based on faith. Glasgow is a great city but is horribly segregated when it comes to education. The idea that kids living in the same street go to different schools based on their supposed religion is a total anathema to me, if I can use such a phrase in this context ![]() |
By:
We know Glasgow is bigger then Aberdeen , but it doesn’t have more catholic schools than Scotland , or England
It has less |
By:
Actually Aberdeen is bigger than Glasgow
By:
As far as I know there is no problem in integration
By:
You think Glasgow doesn't have a problem with religious divide?
That is risible |
By:
northanlite if you can’t be honest we are not going to get very far
By:
Honest about what?
By:
I am saying there may be problems in Glasgow
But it may have nothing to do with schools |
By:
northanlite I am nit wanting to play your silly games as to which city is the biggest
Try and be honest |
By:
By:
By:
ok, that’s what I mean
By:
?
By:
This might help you northanlite , we know that England and Scotland are have a bigger population than Glasgow and more catholic schools also
And no problem with integration ; ok so what is the problem in Glasgow , it there is one |
By:
You seem to feel it is the catholic schools that are to blame , why ?
And why not in England |
By:
Or Aberdeen , although you don’t seem to be too sure if there are any there
By:
Not apportioning blame as such but obviously Catholic schools are the most prevalent
faith schools in Scotland. |
By:
that’s correct you shouldn’t blame the schools if there are many more of them all over England and we don’t seem to have a problem
By:
Maybe it’s just Glasgow that is the problem , well if there is a problem
By:
Aberdeen is a bigger city than Glasgow. Lfc either forgot to take his drugs or playing his usual game.
By:
Actually that was me that wrote that. It's true it is bigger
By:
I've won a fair few bets over this question
By:
Aberdeen is not bigger
By:
Yeah I know you said it. I meant lfc not on his usual drugs if he isn't agreeing to that.
By:
Here he is again
By:
By:
nope, go ahead prove it
By:
I'm kinda messing with you. Glasgow has a considerably larger population but the
city of Aberdeen is bigger by area. Very large borders into the rural environs |
By:
I know that
By:
![]() |
By:
It was obvious from your first reply , that’s why I said you will have to be honest
By:
Hard to find honest honest people these days.
By:
You will have to learn to think a little northanlite
If I didn’t know I would not have been so foolish to say you will have to be honest Does that make sense , think about it it’s too subtle for detraveller |
By:
I was honest. Look up the definition of bigger. It pertains to size not population
By:
Lighten up lfc, at least you learnt something.
Every day is school day, just hopefully a secular non faith based one. |
By:
Well done northanlite.
By:
ok to explain for anyone you silly to understand
I knew Glasgow’s population was bigger I knew when you said Aberdeen was that you must have meant it was bigger land mass whatever That’s why I said you will have to be honest , or we won’t get very far It’s quite easy to understand |
By:
I was just joshing with you northanlite, that’s ok as well :)
By:
Try and keep up
