The FT is a despicable rag anyway.
Pity they didn't send in under cover reporters to Rotherham, Rochdale and all stations north south east and west. |

Have all the girls filed complaints with the police?
They signed non-disclosure agreements. I doubt they fancy paying a monkey to a lawyer to find out what would happen if they did. |
By:
A non disclosure agreement wouldn't cover criminal acts.

Virtue signallers and political opportunists at work here.

Newsnight now

If the 350 men were all muslims would the people on this thread be giving the same opinions

where did you read law akabula?
By:
You don't need a degree in law to know that dave.
By:
................... just common sense.
By:
Well, akabula, perhaps when a young girl is told by a wealthy man to stfu or she'll be taken to court, she might just put it down to experience.
By:
probably wont get paid until end of feb, kick up a fuss and ......
By:
So that happened?
Or is it just claptrap to keep the virtue signallers bandwagon on the rails? |
By:
what happened?
the organisers shut down the venture all the men went home early lol |
By:
akabula its what Trump has been doing for decades. Its what Weinstein did, its what Saville did.
This whole thing isn't about the guys going to a "club" on a golf holiday. It's about rich and powerful men demeaning women as a group. Apart from the outrageous whataboutery in this thread you rightwingers once again miss the point. There's someone saying they are being oppressed ffs. And you call people who don't agree with you snowflakes. |

all the men went home early Struggling to see the criminality in that. |
By:
you didnt ask for criminality, you asked what happened
i answered why defend them, they are not defending themselves |
By:
I'm not defending or defending them because like you I don't know exactly what happened.
What I am doing is attacking you snowflakes who cannot wait for the facts before jumping in. |
By:
Watching QT and the Labour guy and Greens MSP calling for the Government Minister who was there.
This despite the fact he left early because he felt uncomfortable and has condemned the event. |
By:
a minister feels uncomfortable and leaves
a reporter takes a job having heard previously what goes on the organisers shut down the company having been exposed, and wont comment but you want to come on here and defend them hey ho |
By:
Was going to respond to you despite having already said that I wasn't defending them but for the second time I'll let Mark Twain speak for me;
“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” |
By:
but you never seem to beat anyone
By:
Certainly none of the stupid people which goes to show that mark was correct.
By:
think about it!

Shot yourself in the foot with that post at 00.10 Donny.

I wonder did any of the woman enjoy the night and are dissapointed to hear it was so terrible .
Well it would be difficult to say so now I imagine , now they've been told . |
By:
What happened that was so terrible ? I don't know
And the men ? well they like the idea of being enticed to give away thousands of pounds Such a peculiar vice |
By:
the newsnight interview was laughable,i was listening to the girl and her mum describing what happened ,her mum saying how distressed she was informed the police etc, traumatised, not knowing she was talking about last year, then says she was that traumatised, distreesed, knowing what happens at the event, goes again last week, unbelievable wouldn't give these snowflakes a second of anyones time

You think after all this exposure someone would use the NDA to gag someone reporting a criminal act? I assume the FT lady signed the NDA? What repercussions do you expect her to face? |

the ft journo would have access to free legal advice if she needed it
the part time staff would likely not all part of the attempt to hush it up, and keep it hushed up..... for the most part the nda seem to have done their job |
By:
anyone who was there would have access to free legal advice courtesy of the financial times
By:
insider trader apparently astonished to learn that Trump has used ndas and lawyers throughout his life to silence people.
By:
Has it been hushed up?
I thought it was all over the news and papers. Guest lists published. Guilt by association. If criminal offenses have been committed then people should be held to account by due process. Not trial by media. |
By:
ndas cannot be used to silence people in any criminal case
