lets be fair 2 undercover sting times reporters waiting tables, are they really saying girls were groped, sexualy harrassed, one said a man exposed himself and they didn't phone the police doesn't that make them worse or as bad as the blokes who were there, I,m sure the ladys from the times were offering all sorts of cash inducements for the women to make official complaints etc

I prefer the view nice and low   very low - speshully those short dresses and black knickers

I tend to wear them very short - gives the guys a nice flash  -  speshully in high high heels

If you watched 'Newsnight' last night, you'd have thought this event was the biggest night of sexual assaults on women since a typical New Year's Eve in Germany. Well, at least since the cultural enrichers invaded the Fatherland.

No-one apparently phoned the police though during the evening, to bring matters to a halt.

Why not?

The suggestion that a "waitress" might call the police in these circumstances at a high-end charity event at the Dorchester is ridiculous.

Equating the female waiting staff at this all male event, with the male performers at an Ann Summers / Chippendale event is equally ridiculous.

Puzzled why the staff were being paid £150 plus taxis allowances for waiting on when the money being raised was for charity ? Not a bad pay for an evening waiting on,plenty more than my family got for the job.

1st time - As I think you know very well, I am not underplaying the seriousness of any possible offences!  My point is that it is understandable that said employees might not feel comfortable in calling the police in the particular circumstances.

The unproven allegations (i.e. the unwelcome publicity) have seemingly been serious enough to bring an end to this and other Presidents Club fundraising events.

Let's have some of these alleged assaulters and flashers brought before the courts if there are credible charges to be brought.

women freely go to work ,get well paid and no complaints to the police , although good old jess who wasn't there wants the police to make arrests, meanwhile jess unlike some of her fellow lady labour mp,s who werelabled racist ,doesnt want to discuss organised gang raping of white girls by muslim men, oh to be a confused, conflicted luvie

Noteworthy that host David Walliams was "absolutely appalled", although he said he left before the naughty behaviour. Is he also appalled about the content of "Little Britain" which was arguably far worse than anything that happened at The Presidents Club? Another luvvie hypocrite!

says the man who thinks that the "waitresses" hired for this event are directly comparable with blokes hired to "attend" Ann Summers and Chippendales events.

Still no evidence. Snow a disgarce as usual tonight. Aided and abetted by the shameful Jess Philips MP who also offered no evidence.

as already said if the times went to all the bother of a sting they would have been pleading, bribing people to either go to the police or be all over the airwaves with their allegations, instead they,ve got the odd bit of inuendo

If any recent 'news' item has summed up the phony moral outrage of the social justice warriors tarnishing society, it is this.

Clearly it is now considered far far worse for wealthy business people, to pay attractive young women to parade around serving fine wine and cognac, whilst raising thousands for charity, than it is for followers of a well known religion to systematically groom and abuse young and vulnerable girls in working class towns like Rotherham and Blackburn.

This event has been going for 33 years and without doubt many of these 'waitresses' will have been employed at previous gatherings on the remit of looking good and making overweight millionaires feel like George Clooney in the hope of loosening their wallets for a good cause. Let's face it how many charity bashes have we attended where just two of many lots were a £125k BMW i8 and a luncheon with Boris Johnson and Ian Botham?

There is video footage but it looks like no more than a gathering of people at most functions,no sign of real abuse. We have had recent experience of unsubstantiated rapes when young men have been released after proper investigations, are we not on dangerous ground here ?

1st time poster - is your 20.33 post a serious one?  Just wondering!

Have you recovered yet from your matching of the lady waitresses at the Dorchester with the blokes who attend Ann Summers parties or Chippendales. Or are you sticking to your ridiculous comparison?
