Alun- you obviously didn't receive my cheque for 2 large to encourage you NOT to divulge my past. The records we made were never released-THEY ESCAPED! Ahh memories of the 80s- the groupies, the drugs, the alcohol- and just about everything else in which I did not partake!

The 80s had worse songs than that. Are you mentally blocking out "Haysi Fantayzee"?

Joining this thread late, just listened to this.

Seems a blatant rip off, of Bowie's 'Cat People (Putting Out Fire)' from 'Let's Dance'
Bowie's song was used to great effect in 'Inglorious Basterds' as the cinema was being prepared for the Nazi 'welcome'

Rockwell wasn't actually Michael Jackson. Rockwell was Kennedy William Gordy and Jacko featured on his single "Sombody's Watching Me" along with brother Jermaine (who was on backing vocals).

yeah, i was meaning the single, not the band

jacko was in dispute with record label and denied he was the singer for years

gordy was one of jackos few childhood friends,

I'd forgotten all about this song, but now I can remember it. I'm sure I didn't think it was that bad at the time. Now of course, it sounds awful, like a lot of the 80s stuff it doesn't age well.
But seriously, this is tip of the iceberg stuff, there's so much more, a lot worse than this one.

Though if you believe Wikipedia Confused he obtained his recording contract without his Father's knowledge to avoid nepotism etc.

you may find this impossible but think i've found an equally bad single from the 80s. its got the same features as politics of dancing, s hite lyrics, tuneless, and a very poor bad image.
ladies and gentlemen i give you-
