if you had read the bible, then the book of Daniel would have informed you
that they were very intelligent guys. the clock you watch is based on their system. the Zoroastrian priesthood and Daniel were linked to the three wise men story, Daniel had foretold the messiah 500 years before and it's thought that the Zoroastrians were working from Daniel's writings when they observed the star of Bethlehem. they knew from Daniel, a highly respected prophet and second in command of the country that something big was coming. |

While doing it I came across the story of Babel These clever babylonian types building high structures 'to be nearer the sun', but god didnt fancy these building over such a height (not sure where the imaginary height of acceptance was) but ultimately got too high for god who saw it as pride and so.... well you finish the story zorro |

Im still refering to the same senitment. The story of the tower of Babel, are you saying its not true? That god allowed a certain height then saw it as pride and as a result made all the builders speak in differing languages so they could build no higher, and is told to be the reason humans at that point never spoke the same universal lamguage again> |

But now I race for money You dont mention anything about the sentiment of the story though. Everyone supposedly spoke the same language, then were stopped building higher because god made them speak different languages? Well why would that stop them for one, since they had built most of it already so were now experienced builders, and two, what of all the non related building activities carried out after? If they couldnt understand well enough to build they couldnt understand well enough for anything. Let alone pass on the message of god? |
