You should lay Corbyn at that price, too, for the simple reason it is highly probable there will be another Tory PM before he even gets another chance.

The torys have a terrible bunch to choose from, all vote losers so they have to stay out the term the list of problems and the state the countrys in are endless and things are going to get worse yet.Even so i still wouldn't back corbyn to be PM  probably too old in 2/3 years, then that leaves the ones on the front bench that look as bad as the torys all vote losers. There is one major player for me but until labour get the shadow cabinet sorted out i can see minoritys governments going on and on for a long time Dan jarvis is the big game changer but he hasn't even been given a post in sgadow cabinet big mistake..

I just saw JC at Glastonbury on the news.
I'm sorry but there is just something very wrong with entertainment becoming politicised.
I gather the crowd is more likely made up of large numbers of anarchists, but can't they take a day off from preaching?

It will be somebody who the majority of the MPs can accept. My opinion is that it will be Davis or a young outsider we haven't even considered. Rudd would have been in the frame but her precarious constituency majority rules her out.

What we can all agree on is that May will not contest another GE. Unlike the Labour Party, the Conservatives will not suffer fools for long.

Talk seriously do you not agree now that whoever is tory leader Austerity is now finished and Brexit and Austerity are the only 2 games in town

Speaking of Norman Tebbit, I am surprised not to have ever heard him comment on John McDonnell's past support of the IRA. Perhaps he has spoken out and I've missed it, but he must surely hold extremely strong views on the matter.

We have never suffered any kind of austerity under any government in my lifetime. Austerity is something the country desperately needs but nobody has the guts to implement.

When: 25 Jun 17 02:41
Really this is exactly why Labour did so well , even most tories have heard the message no more austerity , what about the real criminals the banks and the square mile escaping scott free from the carnage they and their mates created

I see families supposedly poverty stricken with kids who have larger waistlines than me watching Sky Sports on 50 inch tellies and playing Candy Crush on their smartphones. Poverty my arse.

Exactly anxious, a music festival.
It's as though there arnt enough hours in the day for politicians to seep into the psyche of the electorate.
I wouldn't mind but ppl tend to forget that they are never happy and politics is cyclic for a reason and that is that power is inevitably toxic.
What will brand Glastonbury do if JC got in?
We all know it will ultimately fail....don't we?

Punish as many bankers as you like if they broke the rules, I don't have a problem with punishing people. But don't tell me the country has suffered any real austerity because it is not true. Austerity has just become a word people use to excuse their own failings.

Plug one hole and another opens.
Just let the ppl get off their face without attempting to manipulate them.

All the things you mention have not suffered from austerity at all, they have had more money invested in them continually year on year and will continue to do so. The real problem is over population, a problem that is ignored by all politicians it seems. Ask yourself your own question, Anxious, are YOU so blind and bitter that you cannot see the truth.

Corbyn is getting to be more like Blair every month, milking the adoration,a dangerous move away from what he purports to stand for.Glastonbury is hardly the working man's venue ?We will hear him wanting to invade some foreign land next, probably USA to depose Trump !

Big mistake for Glastonbury to allow any Politician to appear.  Corby is milking this too much he is becoming a cult, a messiah, which never ends well.

Tory MP Philip Hollobone said: “The BBC is riddled with Left-wing bias from the Today programme downwards.

“They will seize any opportunity to get Theresa May out. Jeremy Corbyn at Glastonbury is a typical example of their behaviour… the BBC is out of control.”

Andrew Bridgen, another Tory MP, added: “The BBC will do everything they can to get their hero Jeremy Corbyn into Downing Street. Now with things like this year’s Glastonbury, it’s becoming ever more blatant.

“They are at the stage where if the BBC give it one more push, we will end up with a Marxist in No 10."

The BBC was once the epitome of Britishness, it stood up for our country and was admired the world over. Not anymore thanks to the lefties who have hijacked a once great institution. The BBC is now a national disgrace.

The tories tried to bully the bbc whenever they have been in power , in the 80s it was thatchers boot boy Tebbit who threatened them then it was whittingdale  2 years ago  telling them their funding was in danger, thankfully for the time being they will not attempt any further bullying
