Katie Hopkins, the newspaper columnist and former Apprentice contestant whose views have caused outrage, cancelled an appearance at the Lewes Speakers Festival on Saturday after protesters calling for “no hate speech” gathered in the East Sussex town. Andrew Chitty, a philosophy lecturer at the University of Sussex, said: “I think it is quite shameful that Katie Hopkins has been invited to speak here. Someone who describes refugees as cockroaches is someone who really should not be invited to talk at a speakers festival.” God forbid anyone be allowed to SPEAK at a SPEAKERS festival!! |

Injera - The people who want Katie silenced are the same ones who want the PTOS banned from the UK. She's effectively silenced herself by ONE - telling lies about people, and TWO - often as consequence of ONE, costing her employer more money than they (presumably) thought she was adding to their business.
