Lest we forget those recommendations from the European Commission:
"Where the media stress the muslim background of perpetrators of terrorist acts, and devote significant coverage to it, the violent backlash against muslims is likely to be greater than in cases where the perpetrators' motivation is downplayed or rejected in favour of alternative explanations." Hence why Syrian immigrant mass murderer, Ali Daoud Sonboly, is widely reported as David S, a depressed German schoolboy influenced by Anders Breivik. Or why Somali immigrant murderer, Zakaria Bulhan, was described as a mentally ill Norwegian. |
|
By:
Who cares about the truth, eh, when one can simply employ "alternative explanations?"
|
|
By:
'A german crime' I thought the EU was all about the United States of Europe, hence a crime in Germany is a crime against Remainers too, Nationalism was suposed to be a thing of the past. Keep to the script or it could all come crumbling down.

We've been through this before Pokermonster, the complete paragraph
In this context, it draws attention to a recent study by Teeside University suggesting that where the media stress the Muslim background of perpetrators of terrorist acts, and devote significant coverage to it, the violent backlash against Muslims is likely to be greater than in cases where the perpetrators’ motivation is downplayed or rejected in favour of alternative explanations. |
|
By:
Who cares about the truth eh Pokermonster, let's just make ".....where..." into "Where..." so that it appears to be a direction rather than a suggestion to consider the study.

what about that one, closer to home but similar except no train connection |

Good morning, David. :)
Did that (red) sentence appear in the European Commission's report? Yes. Was Syrian immigrant mass murderer, Ali Daoud Sonboly, widely reported as David S, a depressed German schoolboy influenced by Anders Breivik? Yes. Was Somali immigrant murderer, Zakaria Bulhan, described as a mentally ill Norwegian? Yes. All true, however unpalatable. Any more of this obfuscation, sir, and I might have to grant you a preemptive pardon. ;) |

Ooh, I've just seen that "liar" comment. You know a nerve has been touched when somebody feels the need to resort to insults. It's also a sign of an argument won. :)

Historically we are homicidal cannibals with a tendency to groupism, incest and religious fairy tales. Surprise me.

Good morning, Bodil. :)
I trust you are in good health and fine spirits, sir? Surprise you? That, I suspect, might prove beyond me at this early hour, old bean. I can vouchsafe my aversion to homicidal cannibalism... well, cannibalism at least. I'm a vegan, you see, a fact which does seem to dumbfound quite a few. |

Then we will eat you.
If you could stuff yourself with garlic butter and shove some bouquet garni in your apertures that would be helpful. My youngest is vegan. Damn you both. Looking forward to Cheltenham. Immensely so. |

Don't eat me, I have a wife and kids! Eat them. Many carnivores have aspired to consume me, sir; all are buried in the woods behind my house. Alive, of course.

Let us agree to eat others.
And when they are gone, draw lots. |

You can devour all the others to your heart's content, dear fellow, my thirty-two year resolve remains strong. When they are gone, however, you will find me magnanimous in victory. You may share my carrot and lentil soup.

Good morning, David. :) Did that (red) sentence appear in the European Commission's report? Yes. Lying again. I posted the relevant sentence. You took part if that sentence and amended it to suit your agenda. |
|
By:
the trouble is dave1357 you don`t understand the sentence. No one is saying that the paragraph quoted is a directive.
but also it is not a `suggestion` to consider the study it say`s the study `suggests` something. now you have to be able to follow that simple line of logic first. |
|
By:
now from that the question is is there a concerted attempt by governments, and the press, and leftists and liberals and nation haters to suppress the truth.
is this going on in the light of such `studies`` |
|
By:
pokermonster did not take part of the sentence to amend it, but you have taken the sentence and misunderstood it

Police in the western German city of Essen have ordered a shopping centre in the centre of town to remain closed on Saturday due to 'concrete indications about a possible attack'.
It was reported by German newspaper Bild that multiple suicide bombers were supposed to attack the centre with explosives. 'Police have concrete indications of a possible attack,' a spokesperson for North Rhine Westphalia Police said. 'In order to avoid possible danger to visitors, they will not be able to enter the shopping halls or the car park.' The shopping center has around 170 shops and eating outlets, serving around 60,000 visitors per day. - Daily Mail. Very sad what's happening to Europe. |
|
By:
ah no, you don't understand. How does pokermonster's quote change the meaning of anything ?
ir doesn't, it would only do so if you don't understand what the sentence is saying... which you obviously don't now I suggest you read it, and read it again and try and understand . |

Dave and others are complicit in this whole affair. They don't exactly come out and say we support terrorism or anything like that. But what they do is to deflect away from where the problem exists, where it comes from or where it breeds. By doing this they are denying the root causes and muddy the waters. Clearly there is a serious problem in europe and people on here are trying to play it down.
Go and ask the people who are affected by it in europe. Dave and the rest may sing from a different hymn sheet then. But up till now it is just not an issue for them. The issue for them is anything that is critical of the Cult is considered to be alt right and all the 'nazi' invective they can generate to deflect from the problem. |

By:
@lfc
First it wasn't a "European Commission" report. The organisation that produced the report is part of the Council of Europe and the report is addressed to the UK with the objective of addressing racism and intolerance. Secondly, the entire original sentence is quite clear in that the originator of the statement is Teeside University and the reporter is drawing attention to that statement. Pokermonster amended the sentence in question, mis-attributed its source and then stated that it was a policy being applied in outside the UK. In short fabricated evidence to support his argument. |

By:
Its really beyond ridiculous now. Here we have another terror attack where the scumbags have already claimed credit for it, and yet the authorities and the media are still trying to cover it up. The jihadi is already out the bottle, why are they still trying to cover it up?

And here is the pretendee socialist mobo back in the thread. With the remarkable assertion that my self "and others" are in some way responsible for an axe wielding paranoid schizophrenic not taking his medicine.
|
|
By:
With support from dave and the rest - it really beggars belief - they will grab at anything to water down the issues as if there is no danger. But then there isn't any. I guess dave and the rest don't reside where there is a likely threat. They would feel differently if it happened to them.
|
|
By:
If you are not against you are with them. The lack of any condemnation shows this.

whats the better alternative? No news or fake news? The main stream media not reporting whats going on gives rise to the amount of conjecture on twitter etc. Keeping the population like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed s***t, contributes to the rise therefore of fake news. The BBC in particular, our state funded and public service broadcaster are guilty of defrauding the UK population by not abiding by its charter to inform , educate and entertain in an impartial manner.Shame on them!
