Let's all thank Allah for the small mercy that it isn't Jeremy Corbyn or Ed 'Hell Yeah' Miliband on that plane.

Good point alun, however if Labour had won the 2015 GE, there would have been no EU Referendum and just perhaps Clinton would have won without the Brexit factor ?

Akabula,

sorry I missed that.  Teresa May's not a principled politician in my book.

Sorry, but FFS sake she's got a degree in geography.  WTF use is that? And this ...

In 2010, May promised to bring the level of net migration down to less than 100,000.[76] In February 2015, The Independent reported, "The Office for National Statistics (ONS) announced a net flow of 298,000 migrants to the UK in the 12 months to September 2014 – up from 210,000 in the previous year."[77] In total, 624,000 people migrated to the UK in the year ending September 2014 and 327,000 left in the same period. Statistics showed "significant increases in migration among both non-EU citizens – up 49,000 to 292,000 – and EU citizens, which rose by 43,000 to 251,000."[77]

Why didn't she resign having failed so badly?

BTW I'm a Conservative supporter - all my life - but I want politicians I can trust, not those who do anything to keep in.

Only pleasant thoughts for Brexiters who seem to be the only ones who know where
the Country will be post Brexit with Trade deals all over the world while the largest
trading block in the World  the E.U. Looks across jealously thinking why didn't we
trade with the rest of the world.

BM - Post Brexit we will still be doing trade with the EU.
Remember this is two way deal and as our exports are less than our imports the EU has more to lose.
By:

So the deals done the E.U. will fold their cards and the Brexiters will be singing Land of Hope and Glory

No a compromise will be reached as it will be to both our benefit.
Some of the EU negotiators have already said that it is in everybodys best interest to reach agreement.

Tariffs work both ways Donny, so it is also in the EU's best interests as we he a trade surplus with them.

Listen, the elephant in the room here is how important the UK economy is to NATO.
Is the EU really going to attempt to financially demonise the UK, when they are so reliant on the UK for European security?
Once all this political C O C K waving has petered out, the business approach around the table will be a compromise for all sides.

It always amazes me Zen how some people are so ready to side with the EU.
it's almost as though they wish for the UK to go bust.

The E.U. is 27 other countries it's often wise to listen to what they say instead of forming an
inward looking U.K. view of how events will unfold.
By:

When: 26 Jan 17 15:56
Yes aka, like Breeding mad, they are full of contradictions.
It's a self fulfilling prophecy but then they say no-one knows what will happen.

They are all over the place. Luckily BM never leaves his bedsit, he probably struggles to understand the green cross code.

And the general consensus would seem to be for compromise.

One Nation Theresa speaks with forked tongue ,the latest in a long line of tory leaders who pretend that they are onside with the people with lovely long speeches about realising how people struggle to keep head above water whilst at the same time stabbing people in the back with her vile policies
