2 crashes in my family today. and I've been out walking today and the standard of driving is atrocious tbh, a van driver doing 40 round a bend and tipping over was without doubt the most stupidest thing I've seen (only got there after the amazing attempt at rounding a tight bend in frosty conditions though), another bloke knocking someone over when doing 40 on a 20mph road, had to break suddenly because (surprise surprise) a van driver cut him up, ended up mounting the pavement and knocking a woman over the car bonnet, thankfully she was just a few cuts and a hurt leg. I've seen silly attempts at drivers trying to go past a tracter on a small windy road... I mean that's bad enough in very good conditions in summer, but in winter with these conditions?
Who gives some of these idiots their driving licences? its ridiculous lol |

Don't get me started on motorbikes/pushbikes either, anyone daft enough to ride a bike in that needs examining lol. heard about a bloke on a moped came off, wheels just slipped and down he went. its like someone said they don't know how to drive to the conditions, they are bad enough in summer but god help anyone out on the road with the same pr*ts in this weather.

MMH ....This Ad for Poachers Bitter ? :
An old guy in a rowing boat, wearing yellow sou' wester, battling against a really bad storm in a choppy sea. He moors the boat, gets out and goes into a pub where he orders a pint. He says "I've never known a night like it" drinks the beer and then says "and I'm not looking forward to the journey home neither!" Did some googling. |

Leopard - yes that's the one. It's something I always say in a fishermans voice when the weather's really bad. I'm sure people understand why I'm saying this, I mean who can't remember a 31 year old advert?

David's talking out of his @rse, I've heard there's going to be a mini iceage in about 12 more years with skating on the River Thames.

Still see people driving like idiots. The bus driver in that clip was probably going too fast. He could clearly the jackass in the car in front of him and had no chance of slowing down to avoid a collision so he tried a swerve and got away with it, hero in this case and not a zero but not far off!
I still see people driving with wheels spinning in first gear! they should not be allowed to walk on pavements let alone drive cars. I see kids playing in snow with trainers on, no boots. I don't blame the kids but the parents are probably the ones that drive in first gear! Mark my words with temperatures barely around freezing all day there will be carnage tonight if people try and drive if there is an ice storm! |

I'm amazed how close drivers are to the car in front

With the NHS in dire needs anyway, people shouldn't be driving full stop, if they really need too then you can make allowances, but there's people out driving like loonies just to fetch the paper from a shop its pretty dumb and the shops are like 10 minutes away walking distance. some of the stories you hear about driving collisions etc are out of this world.

I don't usually take the bus but as the pavements were very slippery I thought I would.
The bus stop is where they start from so the bus was already there but had about ten minutes to go to take off, but he wouldn't let me on - it was freezing This was unusual as they normally do if I take the bus. He saw me but continued sorting out his wallet and playing with his phone. |
