Roman Baths in London, England. Who would know that somewhere in the heart of this magnificent huge city, there`s such an ancient spot. It takes some time to find this place though, but once you get there you`ll be taken down the stairs led to this unique archaeological site which contains the remains of the Roman Bath House.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, Austria. Multimedia artist André Heller created a world of wonder to celebrate Swarovski’s hundredth anniversary in 1995. Heller’s thematic centerpiece for Swarovski Crystal Worlds was the shape of the Giant. And he developed the story of a Giant who set out to experience the world and all of its treasures and wonders. With this knowledge, the Giant settled down in Wattens/Tyrol, where he has watched over his Chambers of Wonder ever since.








These breathtaking drone photos capture St. Ivan Rilski, a partially-submerged church near Bulgaria’s Zhrebchevo Dam. The church was part of a village that flooded to the point of disappearance when Bulgaria’s communist regime built the dam nearby in 1965.

When water levels are low enough, you’ll see remnants of the church cemetery, the Daily Mail reports. The hauntingly empty area is popular with photographers and artists, who set up tents to capture the landscape in all its lonesome glory

Black Opal is Australia’s national gemstone, and black opal is the rarest and most valuable of its kind, at times selling at prices that rival the best diamonds. The stone must have a rich, black background, but base colors come in all shades of gray, which is why opinions vary on what is a “true” black opal. Found in the Lightning Ridge area in northwestern New South Wales, black opals are natural, solid stones that absorb scattered white light, giving it brilliant spectral colors.

Record-Breaking Life-Size Lego Caravan on Display

A life-size caravan which holds the Guinness World Record as ‘the largest caravan built with interlocking plastic bricks’ has gone on public display in the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire, England.

Built by 12 model makers using 215,158 Lego bricks, this creation may use plastic components from the toy box but does almost everything a real caravan can do, with electric lights, running water and even seats that fold into a bed.

The brick brilliance continues inside, with incredible details such as eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes cooking in a frying pan on the two-hob burner, a vase full of flowers on the table, toothbrushes and a tube of toothpaste by the sink, a milk carton in the fridge and even a complete chess set.

Measuring 3.6 meters long, 2.2 meters tall and weighing in at 1200kg, the project took over two months to build and more than 1,000 man-hours. Layers of Lego bricks were built on top of a conventional caravan chassis, proving how strong and versatile the plastic pieces can be. Only standard off-the-shelf Lego pieces were used, with no custom-made components.

The world’s largest flower garden exists in a place you might not expect. It’s found not in the lush Tuileries of Paris or the Renaissance-era terraces at Villa d’Este in Tivoli, Italy, but in the desert outside Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
