you can't do anything about sharia. it's perfectly acceptable that civil matters can be settled outside of court.
however, sharia courts, as well as the Beth Din, should be made to log all their cases and make these logs freely available, demonstrate that they have explained to both parties how the matter would be handled in a english civil court, and the government should introduce a law making failing to report a crime reported to a religious court, a criminal act, with exceptionally severe penalties. |
