When the feminists have finished with Trump.

Care to have a look at this?

Detained in Dubai said the woman may face trial for the charges - for which possible punishments include imprisonment, deportation, flogging and even stoning to death.

its an ongoing problem in dubai, sadly

I find it difficult to see how supporters of Islam can also claim to support feminism, but they do.

dubai sells itself as a luxury destination yet treats its tourists with contempt

once again its not islam that is the problem but the men
in charge of the country that hide behind it

lets hope that they see sense

I don't see a moderate Islamic revolution taking place any time soon, to question the book puts you at risk of death. Islam is going the other way near me, I hardly saw a veil as a teen, now they are very common and increasing.

So Donny infers that it's not the Islamic civil law system that is to blame, but the men who implement it.

That clears that up.

I never understand people like this. You go to a country as a woman where you know you can run into trouble. You come from a developed country that will protect you when you are abroad. You get raped. And you go to the police to report it, instead of your own embassy? People should realize every country doesn't work like your own. I don't feel sorry for this woman. You should have some common sense if you are travelling. In many countries of the world, it is common knowledge to rather get raped than report the rape to police. Even locals avoid involving police and settle their matters themselves. But a british girl who gets raped goes straight to the police to report it! Jesus Christ!

Oh i dunno, Rotherham is much like Dubai when it come to reporting rape by one of our new brethren..
By:

The feminists are not interested in Rotherham guinness

Only interested in white mans rhetoric.

Typical isn't it.
The apologists put Trump in the same category as Muslims for bragging about his exploits with women and touching them. As they do for people who make women second class citizens, force them to cover themselves, take away their rights, and flog them or worse for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting raped.

What lovely people they are.

It has everything to do with islam - it is their law
practiced here when they get a chance too
recently a sharia court told a woman to go back to her husband after she
accused him of rape
I posted this the other day

I would expect any time someone attacked me I would be able to go to the authorites

obviously this is not the case in some countries - and guess which ones they are

and they want the same sharia law in this country

not that it has anything to do with islam (as the protectors of it on here tell us)

65 percent of 'moderate' muslims support the idea of sharia law in this country

it's the fault of the person who raped her, I think some of you have lost touched with reality

By:

By:

When: 17 Nov 16 16:13
it was reported that they were in the uk  but you never know with the misinformation

this from the guardian - you really couldn't make this up!

but if you really want to know current attitudes to these sort of issues you only have to go to a popular on line muslim forum

full of misogyny and sexism with its attitudes and recommendations how to live your life and put down women

don't mention gays or apostasy - in Bradford they set about apostates with baseball bats

NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM though

In 2008 an Australian woman, Alicia Gali, was jailed for eight months in Fujairah for having an illicit sexual relationship after she reported being drugged and raped by three co-workers. In 2009, the South African national Roxanne Hillier was jailed for three months after it was alleged she spent time alone with her male employer, despite medical reports suggesting she had not had sex.

what is so hilarious is that we used to get denial about sharia courts

now that has changed to May saying she wants to incorporate a foreign law into our english law

there is even a chairman of sharia councils

coming to a town near you

everyone should be concerned about these men trying to impose a foreign law on the rest of us

How do you manage to reconcile Islam and feminism, facts? Must be a real conundrum, do you think Islam will eventually modify?
By:
ZenMaster
When: 17 Nov 16 16:47
Anyone who wants to encourage Islam must surely be against feminism.
By:
donny osmond
When: 17 Nov 16 16:48
why should we be concerned ?

iif sharia courts are brought into british justice it would
be to ensure they abided by our laws

so a good thing ....

but hey ho

When: 17 Nov 16 16:56
At least we know you support sharia law  and

according to a reputable source like the independent the two men returned to the UK

hope this helps

your lack of concern does show a certain naivety in the matter of the strength of Islam and its aims.  Or is it that you simply support it.
