Well why doesn't the govt publish their letter to nissan?
btw the biggest irony to me is that a government that blocked the EU from imposing punitive dumping sanctions on Chinese steel, suddenly gives all sorts of undertakings with taxpayer's funds to keep the brextits happy in their fantasy world as long as possible. |

Well why doesn't the govt publish their letter to nissan?
If it publishes one it will be asked to publish them all won't it? Then you end up with the micro management interpretations that ask for a million responses. |

When does this Brexit hysteria stop and let the government get on with it ?

Yes tt, when will it ever end. Never is the answer. I am resigned to that, even good news will be disappointing to the Remainers.
No worries Gery, but it's not really news that the Gov want to negotiate for zero tariff access. They may prioritise the car industry in negotiations and use this industry as leverage because as we know, those German manufacturers are nervous of the uncertainty also. |

They have to release the letter sooner or later due to a freedom of information order

I imagine (I don't know) that Brexit woters voted out for a variety of reasons.
My reason was that I wanted out of a corrupt organisation (year on year critised by auditors for poor control over spending). We live in a democracy, the majority voted to leave the EU. That's it, move on. But we get a never ending moan from some remainers. Do these people moan about every democratic vote that doesn't go their way? |

We were denied a vote on Maastricht by deceit and we were denied a vote on Lisbon by deceit, both decisions that influenced my opinion about our politcians significantly. If membership of the EU and closer integration was such a good thing why did they consistently try to deny us the chance to confirm that ?

The media and politicians, keep talking about different kinds of Brexit...as far as I am aware there is only one, in or out.
I assume we can trade with EU after we are out, but would not get tariff free trade Confused? |

with junker and co desperate to give the uk a bloody nose over brexit and nissan going public over their threat to leave, maybe the question should be,

An interesting viewpoint ftp, I am sure Ghosen would have been happy to listen to EU if he could take it to France, perhaps the Japanese had a say ?

The EU export a lot of cars to us from Germany, France, Italy, etc.
So perhaps they agreed that all cars will be tariff free, either way? We run a trade deficit with the EU, so in a way we would be better not trading with them at all, one could argue? |

There was a reason for not starting article 50 it was to see if the economy crashed ,if things begin to look very
bleak I can't see any government triggering it unless they are suicidal. |
